Sheeva deserting Outworld and becoming an ally of Earth is one of the MK9 endings I hope partially happens.

Jerrod being the sole soul in Ermac's body. But I'd miss Ermac referring to himself as "We".

Johnny Cage as a ticking time bomb who tries to keep his power under control. The realm of Seido being involved makes it even better.

What we found out about Smoke in his ending should be canonized, just like Noob being revealed to be Bi-Han in his MKD ending was, even though he didn't canonically kill his brother. Same for Kung Lao.

Jade. That mysterious woman, even if she didn't take over Jade's body, should play some kind of role in MKX's story.

Shang Tsung and Liu Kang. They could lead to some interesting character development for both of them.

Kitana's, but only for the bit about Mileena becoming some strange kind of hero.

Quan Chi, keeping Shao Kahn's soul as his secret weapon.

Kabal. Like the mysterious woman in Jade's ending, the cyberneticist should become a canon character.

Raiden, because of the four pupils thing. I want one of them to be called...Kidd Thunder!

Rain as a constant flip-flopper, who doesn't take no for an answer, even from despots like Shao Kahn.

Alright endings would be those of Sonya, Cyrax, Sektor and Skarlet. The first three could actually happen, and Skarlet as a loose cannon without Shao Kahn to keep her at bay could be fun.

In short, many of them could lead to interesting possibilities.

OMG! If forgot about Sheeva's ending! Best ending in the whole freaking game!
