Yes. The best way to give your characters a personality is to actually show the personality....not just through bios and endings.

i'd actually like to see your life bar go up slowly if there are long breaks in the action. it'd be kind of more realistic and keep people on the attack. or maybe i'm wrong maybe it's stupid.

What kind of music would you have for these characters? Motorhead: Hellraiser - Scorpion? Ice, Ice Baby - Frost? Ha, ha. cute idea, but I don't think this would actually work for this game. It would be a twist, but I don't think it would work.

The others, they can come back. But if one doesn't defeat their opponent with a fatality, their poses should be cool. Scorpion was the only one who had a cool pose. Kicking the camera, cool.

Yea verily. I see these as excellent additions.

Music Ideas:

Sub-Zero: Streamline by System of a Down
Scorpion: Zero Signal by Fear Factory (Was used in his scene in MK movie)
Noob: Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones (I was convinced to this by TMB's credits)
Kabal: Life Burns by Apocalyptica (I think. my 360 is busted so I can't find the song on Burnout Revenge.)

Indeed. Another awesome idea ws Devil Jin's strangulation victory or Yoshimitsu's sword copter exit.

1. Entrance animations- If we are talking animations here, like each character taking a stance to their respective fighting style, then I say yes. As far as characters saying something to one another before, during or a after match I say no. Even though at one point I thought it would be kind of cool to do, but after I put some more thought into it, I thought it felt too much like Tekken or Virtua FIghter (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, its just not the vibe I want MK to give off. Although at the same time it doesn't have much to do with either of those games. But if MK is going to be more sinister, in my mind I don't picture characters exchanging words)

Also another reason behind me saying this is, I dont think there would be enough variety of one liners unique to each character, and I wouldn't want characters sharing phrases with one another.

2. Entrance music/tone- Not to my taste. Again I just don't think It fits in with the overall vibe MK gives off. Also if they did this I feel it would kind of take me out of the context of the stage we would be fighting in and the music that accompanies it.

3. Get up animations(in-between rounds)- I haven't really noticed if other fighting games have this feature, but if they do I don't think they pulled it off as well as MK did in the last games. So I say definitely bring this back.

4. Victory Poses- I never liked the way this came out looking in the previous games. Its just not a good concept. Like I stated before, it just looks weird if they perform a set of movements or a pose at the end of a match and no one in the arena is there to see them do it. Even if there was I still think it would be kind of weird. It just doesn't fit with the overall tone MK is now shooting for.

Anyways, heres the thread where I touched up on some of these concepts.

No, it just wouldn't work. Even though this idea is new and creative, it just won't work.
