No Kollectors Edition?

A few months back I posted a thread about what we would like to see in a Kollectors edition, but now we are less than 3 months away from release and not a peep has been made.

Do you think they will release info soon or skip out on a Kollectors Edition?

The last 2 games(MK9 & Injustice) both had 1 or more 'special' editions.

From a money standpoint, it seems like a no brainer, so I'm a bit konfused as to why there hasn't been an announcement of one. Hell, games that don't even need "collectors" edition get them.

The U.S version with the bookends is still one of my favorite Kollectors editions that has been put out.

When was the MK9 editions announce to correlation with release?

If anything, I'm expecting even more distributor-exclusive bullshit.

They aren't ready to announce anything yet. On twitter Neatherrrealm told someone the once certain things finalize they will reveal it

In this day and age? You bet your ass there will be a collectors edition that comes with some stupid crap like MK condoms and a Scorpion statue and probably a locked away with it like Ermac or something.

There'll definitely be some. I wish they'd hurry up and announce them because I'm itching to pre-order this thing, but one of the special editions might (probably not, but might) have something worthwile.

Nothing you won't be able to buy cheaper months later. Of course I am referring to the gated content WB withholds for the special editions.

It was announced back in December 2000. Hoping they reveal something before the month ends.
