ninja type fighters having power and slugish fight styles????

why can't mk designers get a ninja fighter right like scorpion? his moves are so slow and power based...along with subs(even though he not technically a ninja)


but why cant they get it right? ninja are stealth based assassins. they are in and out quick. they aim at pressure points and kills spots.(or something that could disable u from fighting back)


so why do these fighters move slow like they are grapplers?confused

Stealth was Smoke and Noob's thing. They can't all fight the same.

I'm crying a little tear from my left eye right now... FINALLY someone who gets it! But as Razy said, Smoke and Noob are covering the whole stealthy ninja approach, even though neither of them are ninjas, however ironically enough, are better ninjas than Scorpion who is the only actual ninja... XD

Scorpion is a spectre with powers from the netherealm, he can be more effective than stealth if he goes power mode.

Sub-Zero isn't a ninja, he's a Lin Kuei warrior (they're offended by the term ninja). A friend of mine didn't like seeing him using a hammer but I love that he has it as an option because he's not a ninja and I like that he can smash your head with an ice hammer if he wants.

The Lin Kuei invented ninjutsu. Japan stole it.

They just called it something different.

That's the MK lore, but in real life, there never existed a Lin Kuei clan and ninjutsu was invented in Japan, not stealing it from somewhere else.

But I guess none of them are ninjas then. Not even Scorpion. Because none of them are real.

In Mortal Kombat Wikia, it's stated that Lin Kuei is based on a real clan with same name but I was unable to find any information about them.

I think Scorpion's too pissed off to give a flying shit about stealth lol, but I still felt he was one of the faster characters in MK9.

Sub-Zero on the other hand, I'm glad he looks a lot more faster in MKX.

Ninja or not, lets call them martial artists.

i got to agree here. they somehow move/fight like melee is used in wrestling games. which is not a bad thing if the character is big and a street type of brawler.

But do you realise youre asking this question to ppl that are used see to wrestlers fight confused atleast most of them
