Well, in my point of view, MK 8 needs quite a bunch of stuff:

Character rooster between 20 / 25 (including a maximum of three unlockable characters).

As a side note, i would love if the boss of MK8 is locked, unavailable of being unlocked. Like what they did in MK1/2/3.

The mini games must be something in the line of "Test your Might" or "Test your Sight", you know, something serious and actually 'realistic' side events that acompany a real martial arts tournament. And not childish Chess Kombat, Tetris MK or Motor Kombat bullshit modes.

The Konquest mode must be in the same style as Mortal Kombat Deception's Konquest mode. An adventure based game with some RPG features. They could include Realms never before explored in Konquest modes, like Zaterra etc. It would be great if we could choose between every playable character to play in Konquest mode, following his/hers storyline and life. I think the Konquest mode must be the core of MK8, for a deeper gaming experience, deeper storyline telling mode, deeper interaction and expansion of the MK universe and myths. The fighting tournament should be a side mode.

And yeah, what would made MY YEAR, would be the city of Zhu Zin (city featured in MK Conquest) included in the Earthrealm map of Konquest... yeah, i'm dreaming to high...

No humor / cheesiness/ comic relief features.

MK 8 = Dark & Serious, remember Boon?

The Krypt? Absolutely. But also in the Konquest mode, there must be incuded old style secrets, like: being in a particular place in a particular forest or whatever the place, in a particular hour .. you will find a secret item, key, koin whatever. Even secret characters must be really 'secret'.

Forget the 'Kreate a Fatality' bullshit, and return to what a REAL fatality IS: cinematic scenes triggered by button sequences inputted by the player. A maximum of three fatalities per character, and maybe an extra one that triggers the stage fatality. That's it, no Hara Kiris, no bringing back any Babality/ Animality/ Friendship/ Brutality... whatever the fuck-- nuff said.

Include death trapps, but like... one per stage. And maybe the 'Dead or Alive cloning' interactive stage change can be back too.

Kreate a Karacter? Absolutely! That feature was the only thing that Armageddon was any good at (in my opinion).

No more Air Kombat bullshit, or jumping over the enemy anymore.
3D playability, with the less usage of fireballs / magics / possible.
I mean, of course the supernatural features must be there, but no free fireballs light show and unhuman jumps anymore

Weapons? Well, MK Deadly Alliance's system was the best so far. But as Midway will start over with new fighting systems and all, well.. pelase make the hand to hand kombat deeper than the armed fighting. I'm not quite a fan of armed fighting games.. sorry Soul Calibur fans...

Kustomize the characters with new clothes, costumes, items etc is a cool idea.
