If you switch around the letters of "soonish" you could almost spell Shinnok, it's just missing the "k".

What NetherRelm is still releasing this game? I had thought that by there extremely poor marketing this game was just a myth.

Hm. If I recall correctly, didn't Ed Boon allude to NRS revealing details about the new -ality "in a few weeks" during one of the GamesCom interviews? I'm pretty positive I heard that.

But with the Eurogamer Expo in London coming in just a few clicks, I'm hoping for that aaaaand hopefully a character reveal. C'mon Shinnok, Fujin, and/or Tanya!

I don't understand why people want MK4-Deception era characters. The MK community has spent the last 10 years telling NRS how badly they sucked. And now they're in-demand?

Makes no sense to me, and I wouldn't be surprised if NRS has listened loud and clear.

You do realize that not all the characters sucked, right?

Its not soo much the Mk4-Deception era characters in mass but the enjoyment of the games and story from that era as a whole.

If a few from that era were cherry picked like shinnok, quanchi, tanya, nitara, havik, the dragon king / onaga angle etc that would be cool.

While there were elements I didn't like in some of the games I am a fan of all the mortal kombats 1 through 9 and think the history should be maintained even in an alternate reality retake of it like what will happen in mkx

I really don't mind what we get, I know I'm going to like it anyways since I have yet to be disappointed or disliked what they've shown.

You know, I really wouldn't mind if it was more gameplay footage. But at least I hope they focus on a character that hasn't gotten that much show time.

I would love to see Havik and Hotaru. Especially if they give Hotaru an upgraded version of his "Insect" armor. I thought he was great personally. Definitely my two favorites introduced in Deception.

Honestly. When it comes to MK4 era. Shinnok never really got his OWN style he's shared movesets in MK4 and got Jades mkd style in MKA. This will be the game that defines his OWN moveset for an actual game that isn't an action adventure / platformer game.

Even if this is his ONLY game. It will be the defining moment of his character where everything will be UNIQUE to him and not shared.

Well yeah, duh. Geez, I knew somebody would assume I meant "every single person in the MK community" when I made that comment. My fault though for not being clearer.
