New non-human species
By that, I mean in the vein of Baraka and Goro, not the human-looking aliens like Kitana and Hotaru. Should we get more of them?
Anyway, as much as I disliked Motaro's redesign in MKA, it might have worked better if it was actually a new Minotaur character. With a few tweaks to his design (since it still would have looked goofy even if it hadn't been Motaro's), we could get a decent character, imo. I wouldn't even mind the Minotaur having some of Motaro's moves, as that's better than Motaro lacking his hind legs.
I've also had this idea of a female monster inspired by Primal Rage's Vertigo (but smaller, duh), and another one inspired by the Queen from Aliens, at least as far as the head goes. Vertigo's snake-like form could fit Khameleon, to differentiate her from Reptile.
Finally, for a new sub-boss type, I've thought of a swarm of tiny critters, just called "the swarm" by the announcer. They die instantly when hit, can survive one more hit if they block, but they just keep on coming until their energy bar is depleted. You can step on them (so no worry of projectiles missing them). As a playable "character", players would control the whole swarm at the same time (you fire a projectile, the others do as well), and if the critter they're controlling dies, they switch to another one.
Design-wise, the critters would be a variety of creatures, each with different abilities for the special moves (only one of those species would fire a projectile, for instance). X-rays shouldn't work on them, but each characters should be able to grab one of those creatures when it jumps and quickly crush it a la Shinnok.
What do you think?

Total fail! May as well just include Spike from the Gremlins.
So when are you going to stop making new threads?

My fave part of the first movie is when they boosted the old woman's stair lift and she flew out the window, lol.

@Tazer_Gunshot
Nah, I'd prefer the Critters from the Critters movies.
Another creature I've wanted in MK for a long time was a blob.
