Most people I've seen are positive about them. They're new and fresh while also being a throwback to the days of old. And they will be hype-city at tournaments. Most of the bad things I've read have been from nostalgia whores who wanted ultra combos. But all opinions are valid.

It was actually positive in terms of it's concept, it's just the only negativity was the "Brutality" name, since this finisher didn't act the same way the 90's Brutality did.

Finally! A person who speaks the truth, Brutalities are classic Fatalities, they're not what you'd call a Brutality, if you saw it and nobody told you what it is, you'd say it's a Fatality.

But yeah, there has been a bit of backlash, it was more like 50/50, some people liked it, some people hated it, but I doubt they made a new -ality because of the backlash, it was barely there.

Anyways I'm existed to see what they have hidden, I hope it's Friendship, I hate killing people in MK :'(.

I am so glad they're not the old ultra-combo explosion things they were. I loved them at the time but once you've seen one brutality, you've seen them all. It's cool if one character has like a pressure point fatality the way Li Mei did but give it to everybody again and it gets old. Everyone now has multiple ways to brutally kill their opponent without all the spectacle of a fatality. Can't get more brutal than that.



I think Brutality fits it perfectly. What else could you call them? They're more entertaining than the Brutalities of old and it's a nice nod to the past.

Absolutely. They couldn't have made a new ality due to any backlash. Whatever ality they're gonna show, it's been planned, made, and implemented probably a long time before they showed the brutalities.

I never considered Friendships. When he said ality I assumed it would actually have to end in 'ality' but I would be thrilled to have Friendships back. The babalities in MK9 were hilarious. And they could go wild with Friendships.

Looks like Tyler "First Hit" Lansdown has also invited 16bit to show off some high level Kitana...for those interested in that type of thing.
