For the love of God...let's stop the console feuding before it starts.
1. We have no idea what the status of MK7 is. We know that the MK fighting game team is seperate from the adventure game one, and has most likely been working on various things for quite awhile now. The only thing we have to go off of is that it was stated that we would ideally have a new MK game a year.
2. The Xbox360 releases this November, and last I heard, both the PS3 and the Revolution were set to release in 2006. If MK7 does make its supposed 2006 release date then it will be a Q4 release. The Xbox360 will already have been out a year, and having a fairly major title like Mortal Kombat to be released on the Xbox, won't be an option. And as stated, the other two consoles will be released, and will be looking to gain ground in the next-gen console market. Having MK7 release on a current console is not a good move, and honestly doesn't seem like a realistic one either.
Midway and the MK team have a fantastic graphic engine at its disposal, and they won't be waiting another year to utilize it.
