I think they should ease down the number of new characters. People have many favorites that they wish were in the previous games, so it's easy to please them. There should only be about 3-6 new characters in a new game.

Two characters every game.

well they kinda have to add new character every game, it adds variety. having the same old crew over and over and over just doesn't work. thats why they killed off liu kang, sonya, etc. because they were extremely stale characterwise.

they need new faces to freshen things up a little, and more often than not, a lot of those new faces become favorites as well.

I think there should probably be more old characters returning than introducing new ones, but they should be kinda close in terms of how many of each.

old characters shouldn't return over and voer again unless they can keep them updated and fresh either. kang is back, with a whole new story to go with the new look. it makes him interesting again, where as before he was the same old same four games running. sonya and others that were killed have been resurrected by onaga, and are now his slaves. this totally changes their boring old story lines, it's about time too.

Add new characteres.Mix em with old.It wouldnt be good to have the same characters over and over in every game.I personally look forward to new characters,and old.

I always thought a game full of new characters would be interesting. Although, as queve said, the classics must always have a place in MK. ALWAYS.

Surprisingly I kind of want MK to rest some of their classic characters, I like them, but I seriously think the MK Team needs to consider takeing some classics out of MK for the new characters can evolve too.

If the MK team keeps on bringing back alot of classics then they will keep making the classics evolve and the new characters potentials go to waste and their concepts for the new characters be on hold.

but I don't want them to over power the character select screen with many new characters then it would majorly suck for fans who want their favorite character to return and have a story to complete.

But dont you think the MK team should complete new characters story's?... For example: most the new characters in MKDA had alot of potential, Mavado,Nitara,Frost,Blaze(not exactly new..) They were kinda left in the dust in MKD.

Now look at what they did with Li Mei she was new in DA. Li Mei was looked down upon by many people in DA, but after MKD came out, some people like her way better than b4. ( this could probaly have happend if they brang any other new character from DA also. )

See what time can do with new characters if people are patient.

Trust me when I say that MK7 will see the return of many of the new characters of MKDA. How many times have we seen someone take a nap for one game and then return in the one after it?

Sonya and Kano - Mk1, took a nap in MK2, back in business in MK3

Johnny Cage, Baraka, and Raiden - Mk2, took a nap in MK3, back in business in MK4

Tanya - MK4, took a nap in MKDA, back in business in MKD

Mileena - MK4, took a nap in MKDA, back in business in MKD

Trust me, alot of the newbs from MKDA will be back in MK7.

I sure hope so that the newbs of DA return to MK7 to finish off what they started with their stories. But it is too early to exactly say for sure. But I like the idea of them coming back.

The number of new characters shouldn't be cut though. They just need to stop with unwanted extras that really have no place in MK and use the space for them on characters that we like!

With the number of characters they have, I'm really wondering how they will be able to balance out the classics, the just recently entered characters, and the new characters all into one. In my opinion, it's gonna get pretty difficult from here on out to please everyone. But maybe they'll be able to have more characters as gaming technology increases. Shit, we may get 30-35 selectable characters next time around. Wouldn't that be something?

why not pick the best charicters like scorpion,sub zero, and baraka and elimanate the rest!
