Wow, it is agonizing to try and listen to character intros with these people talking. Lol, so fuckin annoying and not worth the effort. Like many people have already said, its annoying how people who obviously know almost nothing about the series get to play it early. And worst of all they for sure do not give a flying fuck about the game other than the fact that its popular and their shitty youtube channels will get a slight boost.

I'm desperate for all things related to this game but I have no interest in watching dickheads button mash while giving embarrassingly clueless commentary. Landing an X-ray over and over is not fucking impressive, you hit two buttons at the same time and your opponent has no idea there's a block button. Not knowing how to play a new game is one thing and totally understandable, button mashing is another thing and not the least bit exciting to watch.

Lol exactly. I don't want to watch people that I could destroy. These casual streamers make lansdown look like a prodigy. To be fair they are not marketing to us but to millions of others who don't play the games. It's nice to see some new gameplay and resolution but it's not fun to watch.

I was just having this conversation with my girlfriend, it's almost insulting to the real fans.

After watching this, IGN looks like tournament level players in comparison.

Yeah it sounds like Kitana and Sub-Zero don't fight for the same cause anymore. Maybe Kitana is angry with Raiden (possibly about Jade) and refuses to fight by his side. That would make for some good story.

Also, that dialogue between D'Vorah and Kotal Kahn basically says that D'Vorah believes she has more power than Kotal. I smell betrayal.

Then, the one where D'Vorah and Quan Chi are talking about their business together. I think D'Vorah is going to play a big part in the Outworld war. I just hope it doesn't backfire, because I like her.
I couldn't make it through GhostRobo's video. Motherfuckers just don't shut up, not even for the intro.

"Jade"

Or Liu Kang.

Looks like Sub-Zero and Kitana aren't working for the same cause but keep a mutual respect attitude.

Also, this guys could've tried to practice a bit before recording? I was really trying to see how effective Subbie's ice blast was but the guy kept spamming it like crazy and not landing it. At least I got confirmation of Cryomancer Sub-Zero keeping his standard throw, which apparently means the kori daggers grab is a combo ender that leaves the opponent standing for a 50/50 (cool since one of my weaknesses is reacting properly to wakeup attacks lol).

If I heard them correctly:

First fight intro:

SZ: "We once fought together"
K: "Much has changed since then"
SZ: "Yes... A pity"

Sub-Zero mid round phrases during the first match:

"You cannot win"
"You lack conviction"

Second fight intro:

SZ: "You're a formidable warrior"
K: "Well spotted, Sub-Zero"
SZ: "But you lack conviction"

Personal note: between Sub-Zero mentioning a lack of conviction multiple times and what he tells Cassie about her leading the group but they not following her, it really looks like becoming the Lin Kuei Grandmaster has put Subbie on a wise man mentor status.

Also worth mentioning that they've clearly avoided matchups like Kitana or Johnny versus Sub-Zero until the name Kuai Liang was obviously thrown in the comic and the story teaser as both of them would've confirmed Kuai Liang because Bi-Han was never an ally of Kitana and Johnny directly mentions that Kuai Liang got rid of the cyborg parts.

Another dialogue worth mentioning is D'Vorah having business with Quan Chi, this leads me to believe that Mileena using the amulet will force Kotal to take desperate measures, go nuts and send D'Vorah to ask for Quan Chi's help against the amulet. Going so far to defeat Mileena will mark that start of Kotal's fall as dealing with someone like Quan Chi will backfire. That's my theory about it rather than the one that is around about D'Vorah betraying him, she really cared for him in the comic.

Muchas gracias amigo!

Very interesting dialogues between Princess Kitana and Grandmaster Subzero. The fact that both characters show a lot of respect to one another, highlights the importance of both characters. Kitana has respect for few kombatants with her status as Princess, and especially with her new feisty attitude in MKX. The same can be said about Subzero as Grandmaster.

I can't wait to see the role both these incredible characters will play in MKX. Subzero and Kitana are my top 2 favorite characters in the entire series, so I'm extremely happy with how they have been treated by NRS in MKX. I'm hoping that both characters play a huge role in MKX story.
