I still wish they woulda given us a more diverse roster... I was talking online with a friend of mine today, someone who is big into fighting games but he's only ever been a casual to MK, only ever playing the games with me or renting them. The only one he's ever actually bought was MK9 but I told him the supposed leak roster and he said, and I quote;

"No character from the deadly alliance era beside Kenshi wich was already there in MK9(to me he is Ermac 2.0, just not as cool) Drahmin, FROST, Mavado... Li Mei... or characters that should had get a second chance and could had been very cool like Nitara... but no..."

If a casual player is saying that, there is a problem here and it's not just the die-hards complaining to complain.

I've seen tons of casual fans bring those guys up. People need to remember the games from the 3D era sold crazy and were received very well.

Sure they were divisive among the fans but what game isn't when you take it to a hardcore fanbase.

I'm not saying that every one of those casual fans wants them back nor is NRS obligated to do that, but there is definitely a decent demand for them. What NRS does with that info is up to them and I won't hold it against them either way.

Completely true. There is a demand for them, it's there. I just wish they wouldn't be relegated to DLC this go around. Not everybody buys DLC, even if its characters they want, simply because they don't believe in paying more than $60 for a game. I know quite a few people who don't and who stubbornly wait until a Complete/GOTY edition comes out and if it doesn't, they never experience it what-so-ever.

But oh well. At this point, MKX looks fantastic and I'll take what I can get. I'll never stop daydreaming about what could've been in terms of roster though.

- If Liu is alive, will he finally kill Raiden? Isn't there still some good left in his heart (that he'll still care for his friends alive & fallen including his love for Kitana)?

- Since Injustice where Superman fought his alternate self, who do you think will face Liu Kang is he IS the final boss? Cassie? Takeda?
