Netherrealm and Chaos factions

Not sure if this has been discussed but when that video about the factions was released, I got curious about the whole "invasion" thing from other realms. Does this mean that we will be fighting against characters from those realms and if so doesn't mean chances are likely for characters like Shinnok, Ashrah, Sareena, Havik and maybe some other dead characters brought back to life???

No it doesn't. Factions have ZERO to do with characters.

It just means that once a week, everyone will stop competing against each others factions and instead will work together to beat the more powerful non player populated faction.
