The IGN article also says that there was a lot of "empty slots" in the select screen. Wonder if they were talking about an earlier build? Or did they infact see the final select screen and it's bigger than we thought? Because, now that's the Cage Family, Mileena and Kenshi are confirmed, the roster is pretty much full.

I'm starting to think that the final select screen might have a surprise 3rd row. Even if it only has like 6 slots. Fujin, Rain, and Shinnok look way too detailed to be just NPCs. There's also Reiko and Havik kicking ass in the comix (and that 5,000 signed petition of Tremor that Ed has acknowledged twice now)

Apparently Kitana isn`t the only one mourning Jade, 2 npc womens look like Jade in a robe or trenchcoat...

Except for the part where in adition to a redesigned Rain now we have a redesigned Fujin!!

I keep thinking the "leak" was only a part of the whole thing to play things safe as it was just a fan prediction, final roster will probably be 28-30 before DLCs and the supposed leak will be just a part of the total.

The IGN article says that there were still a few blank squares left on the select screen (in the version with Johnny, Sonya, Kenshi ect.) so I gather they've seen the final roster (with a possible third row) that we'll see in the stream tomorrow. Let's hope anyway.

I do not know how to feel about this. I loathe MK4 and what it represents, but the Cages taking Shinnok out is somewhat heartwarming.

Hopefully Shinnok is not the endboss too.
