Remember, guys. This was Week 1. There's a loooong way to go.
Bosses are going to be mighty tough - they're bosses, and they have to sustain mass attacks from players. Get in, do the damage you can, get the rewards you can (koins). Stick at it, use it as a training exercise to get better at the game. There's more to the game than throwing it in and winning.
The only way that changes is if every player who doesn't like it digs their heels in, gets their fight on, and reps other factions. You are the problem if you just switch to the winning team.
At some point, everyone's going to have to switch it up if they want to get the multiple factions achievements - Jump Ship, No Loyalty.
Fluctuations in the active player base will change the numbers over time, as well. Week 1 means millions of players, and yes, a lot of casually interested fans who are perhaps not as familiar with some clans & characters, or drawn to the pop iconography of Sub-Zero. As casuals peel off, or become less active, those numbers are bound to change.
Be legit, do your best, have fun.

Even the second place faction, White Lotus, wasn't even in the same ballpark.

Mileena was crazy. I lasted the entire thirty seconds but only did moderate damage. Hit her with an XRay and strung out a combo or two to keep her from Ex rolling and Ex dive kicking my ass. Was using commando Kano but his reversals didn't do enough damage so I went with Scorpion and hit her with everything I had with heavy use of teleporting. Very intelligent and precise blocking is the key. After I Xrayed her she lost some of her edge and I grinded out the next 10 seconds fairly easy. Edit: had to go to practice mode and vs Mileena while I set the difficulty to very hard to really get a feel for how I could last thirty seconds. Got to the invasion fight and it Scared the shit outta me when I figured out the Xray stops time completely. I really thought she would just get up and kick my ass but it was as if her difficulty decreased a bit after you do so much damage to her.
Yeah, I got to level 50 and got nothing except for a title card or whatever. I switched factions because I want the achievement for reaching level 50 in every faction, after i'm done with all of them I'll stick to White Lotus. It definitely has my favorite background out of the bunch

Mileena was a toughie, but she's got a pattern that you can figure out if you played against her enough. She liked her some get-up Ball Rolls. Block. Free combo.
Thunder God Raiden was my choice. His added lighting combos would break her armor in one hit if you could manage to land it.
Ninjutsu Scorpion's Downfall sweep was also useful at times.
Between those two, whenever I was able to survive the 30 seconds that is, I always dealt massive damage. Probably averaged about 2, possibly 3, out of every 5 matches.
Is the boss' life connected to the amount of time left? Or were we actually damaging her? If it's the latter, what if she's not killed by the end of the timer? Or better yet...what if she is?

Yeah, Mileena faction boss is beyond BS. I did it a few times and never again. Once she got a flawless victory with a 24 HIT COMBO I just threw up my arms and proclaimed "DONE". Not gonna waste my time with that again...seriously? Double Speed, Triple Damage, Armor, Block Breaking, Invincibility, 20+ hit combos? Ridiculous.
And yeah, big shock - everyone went Lin Kuei. BECAUSE NINJERZ. ERMAGHERD, NERNJERZ.
So I leveled up my Black Dragon faction to 50 for an achievement, and jumped ship to Lin Kuei, since all the kiddies love their ninjas and that's the only faction that will ever be played by the majority of the fanbase. So, if I ever want bonuses for winning a faction war, I best jump on board with the faction that over 50% of the player base joined. Nothing personal against the Lin Kuei, Subbie is one of my all-time favorites...just bullshit that, once again, the only thing that appeals to this turdbase is ninjas, so the other factions remain in the dust. Even the second place faction, White Lotus, wasn't even in the same ballpark.

Ooh that's a good one. I was using Venomous D'Vorah. Good range and the extra hits break armor. Thunder God Raiden was my choice. His added lighting combos would break her armor in one hit if you could manage to land it.

I thought I heard we would get something for winning. Did I miss something?

Heyo!
If I were to switch factions now, do I lose all my faction kill inputs? Or what about the borders and icons? It says you'll lose all "rewards" so I'm guessing all that is included but I just want to make sure.
Also trying to figure out where this "10% Koin Bonus" comes into play. Didn't seem to have any effect in the Towers.

Mine did. I don't mind losing the faction kills if I switch, but I like quite a few of these icons and borders that I received.
This is frustrating. I hope NRS does a full FAQ in the next stream when they showcase Jason.
Also, the Brain Freeze faction kill is alright, but nothing too special. Smoke's Revenge and that mid body slice one are the best imo.

The entire thing was completely uneventful. No "YOUR FACTION WON!"
No "HERES WHAT YOU GET!"
No winning movie, screenshot or anything. It just automatically started over and to throw salt on the wound, the 5th faction kill didn't unlock.
And since the Lin Kuei is dominating AGAIN, there's no point, once you max out to 50 for the clan, to NOT jump ship right away. Once I get that achievement, I'll stick with the one with the best faction kills.

How's your internet connection?
I'm making due with satellite internet and I still got the "Your faction has won the faction war!" message. On your faction war page, does it say "10% Koin Bonus"?
I think I'll stick with the Kuei for one more week just for that bonus since I still have a ton of stuff to unlock in the Krypt.

Nope. There's literally nothing that would suggest that I was apart of the LK since day one. I'm running on 50 MBPS high speed broadband. My friend and well and he also didn't get the message.

I'm jealous. 200 KBPS is like the best I can acquire lol.
That's so strange though. Maybe you need to be online the day the faction war ends to get the message. Or did you download the whole 3GB patch? Otherwise, I have no idea, but would IM or tweet one of the developers and ask about it.
That's definitely something that I wouldn't want to keep happening in future wars.
