Mortal Kombat X - Fill the Roster Void!

During the huge flow of E3 coverage two confirmations were made about the roster.

Ed Boon confirmed that 'tons of new characters' will be debuting in Mortal Kombat X.
Lead designer John Edwards confirmed that in addition to the two MK mascots returning in MKX, there will be 'a lot more of 'em' returning as well, referring to existing characters from previous game.

Well, I've decided to split the roster in half. Assuming the roster size is 24, it may be possible we'll be getting twelve old and twelve new characters. With this, I'd like for us to fill the void. Who do you think or desire will be granted the blessing of appearing in NRS' latest game?

For me, it's this lovely list below.

The new characters we have seen so far, and the rest of the roster might be new. Would make a really bold game about new faces though! EDIT: Cyrax and Mileena. Forgot them but i like em and since chances are on their side to return someday, sooner than later.

Tanya HAS to be in this game. She's definitely the most requested character so far. I'd be extremely surprised if she didn't make the cut but with the way things are going...who knows.

I think we'll probably get 2 more newer characters than usual but for some reason I just can't see it being an even split. I also don't think the roster will be 24, I'm betting we'll get around 28 like last time but only time will tell. So for now I'll just stick with my guess of 14 returning. As for DLC possibilties...

I honestly think the returning characters will just be the ones that survived MK9, with the exception of Sub-Zero, since he and Scorpion are the poster boys. So we'll see Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Baraka, Mileena, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Quan Chi returning, maybe alongside the DLC from MK9 as well. Then the rest will be new characters.
