There are several reasons why this would be awesome.

1.It would allow alot of violence and blood and gore and fatalities that are gruesome.

2. The Watchmen Universe would be a excellent challenge to MK. They have got Dr. Manhattan and Rorschach and even Ozymandias.

3. The Watchmen comic book is so mature, it would make the game a major m rater.

Character selection:

Mortal Kombat:
Sub-Zero
Scorpion
Baraka
Sonya
Liu Kang
Shang Tsung
Katana
Shao Khan
Raiden

Watchmen:
Rorschach
Nite Owl II
Silk Spectre
Dr. Manhattan
Ozymandias
Nite Owl I
The Comedian
Hooded Justice
Silk Spectre I

Tell me what you think, and some ideas.

That's not a good thing... I think I'm gonna start a chain reaction pretty soon.

I don't think those two worlds mesh well together. Besides Watchmen is a great graphic novel that I feel should be left untouched and remain a classic.

How is Nite-Owl, a chubby, middle aged ordinary man, supposed to compete against world-class ninjas with fire and ice powers?

And I mean both in story and in gameplay? Seriously, none of the Watchmen characters have powers/special moves, they're all just normal folks in funny clothes, except for ONE of them, who's completely at the opposite end of the scale, and has enough power to destroy Raiden with one gesture.

Terrible, terrible idea.

Well, it would take place between 1975, 10 years before the graphic novel. I think that it is an okay idea. Considering powering up the people a little and lowering down Dr. Manhattan, using some kind of weakness.

Ehh... even if this next game was another crossover, and Watchmen Universe were the next batch of characters to cross over into the MK universe, what kind of story would be made up for these characters to go up against MK?

I have to admit, how they did DCU was decent, but you're not going to have the same kind of story plot that DCU had. And besides, it's stupid the lower the power of certain character just for one game. Yeah, Superman is super, but it's stupid for the fact that they had to lower his powers and made him not invinciable was shitty.

That's what you also have to view as well, not just that it's as mature as MK, shares the same kind of violence and gore that both have.

So you are saying Superman should have been invincible? Also Superman is weak to magic.

I know that Superman is weak to magic, and no, I don't think he should have been invicible, of course that would be a shitty thing, but I'm saying that it's stupid to have a character who normally never dies to somewhat die even if there's a reason why he's not invincible.
