MKvDC proved that even though Scorpion fighting Batman is badass... wick ass fatalities aren't worth it. MK is known for fatalities... so we have to keep them as gory as possible...

Street Fighter would tone it down. Tekken would. Even Darkstalkers would... Killer Instinct is the only (decent) game I can think of that would be able to live up to MK's level of violence...

But to be honest some day I wanna see Killer Instinct brought back in it's own good light. So... can anyone think of any series of games, anime, comics or even movies that could live up to the level of violence MK has?

MK vs Street Fighter => hell NO!!!!

MK vs Tekken => Why not

MK vs Killer Instinct => yes!

Lets be honest here. Only one series has actually provided the amount of gore and interesting characters and would allow horrible things to happen to their characters and that is Happy Tree Friends.

(I dont know enough anime really. I know some of them are disturbingly violent though)

In terms of game crossovers my own personal holy grail to crossover with Mortal Kombat would be Soul Calibur. I mean come on Cervantes Vs Scorpion, Shang Tsung Vs Nightmare...

But ultimately Soul Calibur has become more Anime-ish.

MK vs Tekken. That would be cool. Trouble is Tekken characters dont really have projectile moves so you are sitting there wondering how they are gonna do it.

MK Vs SF. It would be cool.

Street Fighter, I keep seeing Killer Instinct come up. That would have been cool 15 years ago when that franchise was...ya know..... ALIVE and relevant.
