Mortal Kombat Trilogy Part 2.....

i wasnt sure where to put this topic, so i put it in general....

Hey everyone! well, i just made this thread to discuss a cool potential Mortal Kombat game, and i would love to hear yur ideas on the subject. Anyhow, we know that a Mortal Kombat trilogy video game was made after the first 3 games came out. Now that 3 new games are out (MK4, Deadly Alliance, Deception) i think it wud be really cool to have a Mortal Kombat Trilogy 2 with the new 3d engine. This is how it would work:
Ok, the game should be only kombat, versus, tournament etc. I think we shud just keep it like that and not add puzzle, chess, konquest etc. Kombat only! All together, there should be 52 characters, all of which were in MK4-Deception. But in the beginnning select screen, only 26 will be available, and its these:

Liu Kang: (mk4, deception)
Sonya Blade: (MKDA, MK4)
Jax: (MK4, MKDA)
Reptile: (MKDA, MK4)
Scorpion: (MK4, MKDA, MKD)
Sub Zero: (MK4, MKDA, MKD)

Ok, so the game will begin with these. The way you would unlock the OTHER 26, it would be cool if they were in the krypt. And the other 26 that will be unlockable in the Krypt will be:

Shinnok: (Mk4)
Goro: (mk4)
Cyrax: (mk4, MKDA)
Bo Rai Cho: (MKDA, MKD)

Ok, so those are the other 26. Now the other 26 shud be unlockable in the krypt. Other things that should be inlockable in the krypt should be:
-Biographies from characters from past MK GAmes
- Old endings from other MK games
- concept art
- Renders
- Movies
- Costumes

each character should have at least 3 costumes (other 2 will be unlockable in the krypt) and each character shud have 3 fatalities.

As for boss and endings. I think the main boss should be The Dragon King, and the sub boss shud be a rotation of other mk bosses. Like sometimes the sub boss can be The Deadly alliance, and sometimes Shinnok. And for endings, i think they should make the ending one long one from the past mk games put together. For example, like the ending from MK4 until MKD. For example, MIleenas ending could be that she was serving Shinnok after the invasion of earth and she fought kitana in a palace where she was almost killed. And then they cud say that Kitana locked her in a prison where she layed for a while until Baraka rescued her. Then they can say that she was posing as Kitana and she was leading the edenian army against Baraka since he knew her deception and that she killed him. bla bla bla...get it?

So yea, i think it would be cool to have a MK trilogy 2 based on mk4, mkda, and mkd. They can even have Super Unlockables that are classics that werent in these games. Like Stryker, Rain, Sheeva etc...

Its a cool idea but they may as well make it an anthology, as every character from mk has been in mk4-mkd except like stryker, sheeva, shao Khan, mortaro and kintaro. Also i like the idea of unlocking characters but i think id do it ala soul calibur, so when you complete it with a character you get another, so say you complete the game with sonya you earn jax etc and always try to have some sort of link between the characters story. That way also makes it that you have to play through with each character atleast once.

thats a good idea! yea, and i think its cool to just have fighting mode so that the characters and fighting wont get interfeared or anything.......

A good idea for it would be to have it called "Mortal Kombat: 3-D Trilogy" as there is now a true trilogy of 3D games (the 3 that compose the trilogy being MK Gold, MK Deadly Alliance, and MK Deception)

Not a bad idea, but what if you could unlock 2D characters in 3D arenas? That would be cool, yet impossible.

Yeah, it would be awesome to have a game with all the mk characters in it.

Add Shao Kahn to the list. He was in the Gamecube version of MK:D.

that's good, 'cause it wiil be the firt game in new generation platform and it can include all characters that we saw in all games, also stryker sheeva shao kan motaro n kintaro. i think they have to include human smoke n unmasked sub-zero, all two unlockable in select character screen with moves and finishes different by cyborg smoke and masked sub. the finishes can be four fatalities (two classic and two custom), babality, friendship,animality and brutaity for all characters.

i think that MNKArmageddon is a trial to make a Trilogy 2 game.
Another reunion game could be hard to make.
Be realistic: i hope that the next MKGame will take fresh on the series and will go on to the storyline introdung new characters and bring back old ones with new look(i hope to see Liu Kang in his new God form,Johnny Cage,Sonya and Kitana with new attires and Jax in his new cybrg form).
I really don't want to see Subby or scorpion again.
Same for a lot of characters...
