*Starts with Raiden, zooming in the camera towards to the 10+ people standing in an alliance*

'I've called you all to let you know of one thing... I will destory anyone who puts Earthrealm in peril. if you didn't know that by now, ask Shujinko, but you see wheres he's at right now. I've assembled some of the greatest warriors of history to once again prove themselves loyal to me. As the Elder Gods would "permit" only such thing if I would return as a mortal, but with the help of Shinnok and Quan Chi, I've found a new way of deceiving the Elder Gods. With the combined power of both sorcery and Eletricity, I've created a new warrior called "Vrius". With this new warrior, he'll be consided the "new" Earthrealm Champion. he has full power to destory ANYTHING and ANYONE for any reason whatsoever. My only wishes is to make sure the realms are in good shape for what i plan on doing to it after this tournament. This is the Insurrection of the universe!"

There's a lot that I really have no idea what's going on here. First, why would Raiden want to return back as a mortal? Secondly, why would he deceive the Elder Gods? And thirdly, exactly what is the main purpose of this tournament? Is it to see who can destroy Virus or something? There's a lot of key things missing throughout this story and it's just not making sense right now.

So basically no new characters? Shame, I'd at least expect to see a heck of a lot of new characters rather than seeing Drahmin, Havik... certain characters that did not gain too much popularity amongst the fans of MK.

Not to mention, I don't get the story line whatsoever, and with this cast of characters, what would their sole purpose in this game would be?

Lolz at the "Option" choice. Of course that... I'm assuming KAA stands for Create an Arena... Do you know ho much waste of a space that could be if that was added into the the game? Plus, I don't think there would be enough space on the disk to carry that sort of extra. What is Kata? I probably know what it is, but I'm too tired to remember...

Two Conquests? One as an adventure and the other as training? Might as well just call it "Practice" like they had it in MK4... but...

Yes, this is your idea, it's interesting I'll give you that but, if this was to be an idea for the next game, I hardly doubt all those character would make a return. Especially for those who did not gain that much popularity amongst the crowd. And your story has a few kinks that needs to be worked on, but other than that it's kind of a cool thing.

The story seems pretty fragile at best. I just can't see Raiden being as pure evil as he is right there, not even Dark Raiden. And you should probably cut this Virus dude out of the story

Kind of an interesting premise you're working with here, essentially placing Raiden in Shao Kahn's shoes. Virus brings up a couple of questions though. If he was created by Raiden, does he posses free will, but is easily led (ala Moloch) or is he only an extention of Raiden himself? I'll also ask what Virus actually is. Humanoid? Elemental? Automaton?

Addressing Raiden, what's the extant of his motivations? Is this potential multiversal invasion something done out of malice, or just a means to protect Earth? What are Shinnok and Quan Chi planning to get out of all this?

Yeah New characters would just bring out some more ugliness into the Mk universe. just like For instance Shinnok, we MK fans had to play and follow his story no matter what, and that takes years and years to do. About the "Vyrius" dude, he's an elemental and Magical being made for the purporse of Raiden only. He's Raiden's "Chief of Staff" if you put it that way, only was created to help Raiden in critical, major times/points of the story. The story is a Half-Half Raiden. He still wants to be good, but majority of his new soul wants him to reclaim his evil. His direction of the game is to cause a gigantic war apoun multiuniversal realms, and create wars for over a 100,000 years ( In the storylines of Kung Lao and Fujin)

I think you need to tell us more about each character and what their purpose is in the game, revealing more depths of what the characters are doing. Cause right now Raiden seems a bit sketchy of what's going on with Vrius.

Okay, I see now where you're heading with this story. It's different I'll give you that, but it's an interesting thing. But, as the user above said, let's see you discuss each character's role you have listed in the game if that was what you were going to do next. glasses
