Just a quick Idea, witht he "Big News" coming on Tuesday ive been thinking of all kinds of ideas of what it might be. Might just be letting my brain run rampid for nothing but this crossed my mind.
MKA was the end of a generation of MK games. From MK:M to MKA was our entire past timeline. Soon there will be "old timeline" and "new timeline" referrences and things are gonna get pretty intense over the next 2 MK games with comparing, if they continue from this new timeline.
So in a nutshell, How cool would it be to get a MK: Anthology where every game (MK:M, MK1, MK2, UMK3, MK4, MKDA, MKD, MKSM, MKA and even MKDC) is formatted for one system? PS3 and Xbox360. Complete with soundtracks and maybe a Canon Book of the Former Timeline and every story detail we could want?
The Ultimate MK Kollection.
-Would you buy it?
-How much would you pay?
-What would you want included?
me:
-Yes I would buy it
-Id pay anything under/up to $500 for it
-Every Game, Concept art book, Canon story timeline, Autographed collectable.
thoughts?

Awesome post!
Would you buy it? - Absolutely!!
How much would you pay? - If it had what is in your wish list, I would pay up $500-600
What would you want included? - Your list pretty much covers it! Maybe throw in a poster for each game, that would be cool.
It would be soooooooooooo nice to have all of the games on one system--it's such a pain to switch around, especially for the older games.

The "big news" is the roster reveal.
And I'd buy this for Deadly Alliance alone, so I wouldn't have to hook up my Gamecube all the time just to play it. I'd pay like $100.

Evidence?
The Tweet by @MK_MortalKombat was quite teasing and said "Tuesday" but was followed by "April 19th"
I guess we'll see.
I would definitely buy an anthology. I would probably only pay up to around $250 for it though.
I'd like every game, concept art for each, original MK comics, extra disc with all of the music from MK. Also, your idea for a booklet with the canon timeline is fantastic!
That is a lot of stuff, but $250 is as high as I could go since I've already purchased all of these games.

should come with a complete soundtrack compilation and a collection of all the old MK comics. a booklet with the complete definitive cannon storyline (or at least main plot points such as the winners of each game) and character bios and concept artwork.
Throw all that in with every single game, including Mythologies and Special Forces and I'd pay upwards of $300 for the whole shebang.

Thereis no way they would be able to fit MK1 - MK v. DC all on one disk. All those games including the side games would be like 6 disks long

A blu-Ray disc could easily fit everything... easily. PS3 would be covered.
Who ever said it had to be on one disc? could be a box set

I'd buy a multi-disc box set - especially if it looks awesome for collectible purposes.

I would buy it, probably up to $200 for all of them. I would want a multi-disc Kollector's package, maybe with a concept art book, bonus "History of MK" disc, and maybe an MKA-type poster with every kharacter on it. MK dragon medallion? Definitely Achievement/ Trophy support although it may have more than normal due to the sheer number of games, I'm guessing 500- 750G per game. It would also be cool if the games were packaged in a wooden chest-type case. Maybe modeled after the chest seen in the Krypt from the demo trailer. As for the Multi-Disc thing, maybe something like this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disc 1: MK1-3 Disc 2: MK4-MKDA Disc 3: MKD-MKA Disc 4: MKSM Disc 5: MKvDCU Disc 6: "Bonus" games UMK3, MKT, MKG Disc 7: MKSF, MKM: Sub-Zero Disc 8: Bonus "History of MK" disc Some of these can be condensed I'm sure. As I understand, standard X360 DVDs are about 9GB and I'm not sure exactly how big each game file is.

Most of the PS2 MK games are barely 2 gigs, if that. So they're not that big.
But as long as this collection had MKT and MK Gold, I'd buy it for sure.
