MK: Armageddon is probably nearing completion within the next 2 months. I'm sure MK8 is just a concept and nothing has really been built yet. I hope since Ed Boon plays Tekken and other fighters he realizes high level play. I hope he understands the demand for it. I really hope MK8 is something really over the top and fresh as ever.

Considering it's a step up to a new generation, it makes perfect sense to spend more time on it. The WWE games all failed miserably in the last generation jump, because they stuck to a short timeline. Smackdown! 3, Wrestlemania X8 and Raw all were horrific titles.'

I doubt that they'll be abandoning that "one MK game a year" promise anytime soon so there will probably be another Action/Adventure game released next year but it shouldn't impact on MK8's development because the fighting games and MKSM were developed by two seperate teams.

kira and havik werent really THAT new...havik had shang tsung and quan chi's fighting styles from mortal kombat deadly alliance...and kira is a combination of kano and sonya from deadly alliance

Those characters WERE NEW! they just didn't have enough time to give them their on moves lists. In this new game though I'm sure they'll be completely different

If they were afraid of timing, they should've just not had them in there at all. No point making clones in a game that was parodied with all the ninja clones already.

Well, MK games of late have been known for coming out LATER in the year in October so I'm honestly not worried.With that being said, say they work on it more from this October with MK:A's release then that would be exactly 2 years of work.That's good enough.

There will be better gameplay, improved graphics etc etc.And that newer HINT at the 6 player or more lobby is great news.I play this game online so I know from deception's experience.MK:A will be better, and MK 8 will be even more so I'm betting.Sweet.

I hope when they make this game they get ideas out the @$$ cuz I hopin its going 2 b the best mk game ever like 1,000,000x better a experience no bodys' ever had they shoud check all forum topics and get ideas, make more characters, more levels and more modes and others!!! and what I had in mind is somthin like when u fight on shenmue 2 u could fight normally but if they do a certain type of move u press the right button to dodge it u get me!!
