NON-PLAYABLE BOSS: Shinnok

I don't know if NRS would have the stones to make Sub Zero DLC and not put him on the main roster, but it would be cool to go with a theme whereby a bonus story could be downloaded and, from these five characters perspectives, you find out how they get out of the Netherealm.

Plus, that would not only even out the number of good and evil characters, but it would give the game 35 in total. A nice round...ish number. I also like the mix of characters from the last MK, character from the 3D era of MK and characters from the MK universe that have never really had a fair shake.

Elemental Gods would be neat, I mean they've killed Shao Kahn in just about every game. Why not have the people that were in MK Mythologies Sub Zero come back? Fujin and Rayden are fan favorites. What about the Earth, Water, Fire, or even a new Elder God that interfears with the Tournament.

Well, they would have to find a way to bring them back to life first. They died to the hands of Shinnok long ago i think.

I think Liu Kang could still be alive, just really severely scarred, both physically and mentally. I think it'll be a better development for him than being a zombie.

My thoughts are based on the idea that MK10 will cover alternate versions of both MK4 (Shinnok's Invasion) and MK:Deadly Alliance (Quan Chi & Shang Tsung turn on Shinnok instead of Kahn).

I'd hope the game takes off where MK9 left off with Raiden and the very few survivors trying to come to terms with their losses and rebuild Earthrealm.
Shortly thereafter, Raiden learns from a freed (Former Demon) Sareena that Shinnok is invading both Earthrealm and Outworld with a plan to invade the Heavens after. He sets out to find any and all fighters that will help him.

This list is just existing characters I think should be in MK10, I'd happily take a few out to put in some new Hero or Netherrealm characters. Obviously all allegiances are based on the beginning of the game's storyline too.

Jarek- Yes of course! Not to be a Kano clone, but, he should have a knife. For character design, as he looked in Mk 4 (new clothing tho) and main in Armaggedon or a new look. He should have a fatality where he would go crazed with his knife then decapitate his victims head. It should be decapitated by Jarek actually cutting through the flesh and not just a swipe.

Other characters.....

Jax- They could make him more cyborg looking, instead of just his bionic arms.

Sareena

Reptile- as he was in MK 4 with a little touch up and no clothing? ( off topic- Riptor in Killer Instinct didn't wear clothing).

Sub-Zero- In MK 2011 he was in both his human and cyber form. I say bring him back in ice form.

I know everyone hates the idea of Jareek being a Kano clone, but he could have similar moves. I still like the idea of Jareek being this crazy cross between Kano and Deathstroke...Jareek needs guns.

I do not think it was clear that Liu Kang has died, he may have just been knocked out by Raiden. And I see no problems Noob Saibot return considering its position on the Shinnok. Shang Tsung and may have found some way to survive the destruction of Sindel. But yes it seems that Kano was killed by Ice Eternal and without Kano or Kabal not need Black Dragon.

36 characters. Whereas the MK9 had 27 + 4 DLCs and the engine should be good looking beyond the game be the next generation is a reasonable number.

I have a sneaky feeling that they're gonna pull what they did when Scorpion got thrown into the Soulnado on Sub-Zero(Bi-Han). Still pulling for Kuai though, want the Grandmaster back in action!!

With most of the fighters killed off, it will allow them to shake things up in the new timeline. If they hadn't done so, then it would lead up to the Armageddon storyline with there being too many fighters. They could intro a totally new Sub-Zero, not Frost, into the story. Frost was a terrible concept. Also, they could intro a new fighter from Nightwolf's tribe. There is just so many ideas that could be thought of.
