They could make it since Mk Vs. DCU happens after the 1st time they defeat Shao Kahn in the mortal kombat universe make it where the DCU characters stayed in the MK Universe, like Batman works for the Outworld Investigation Agency, and based on their ending in MK vs. DCU (Only DCU) Catwoman can turn into a Black Panther, for Captain Marvel have it where they made him a god

I'd have to say that for MK10 they should work with what they have, including some side-character action since a lot of people would like to see more depth to the story. I could see Tremor and Jarek for sure this time, especially since he's the 1 that was released from being in prison since MKSF on MK9 (Vita). (Notice no regular Sub Zero - with Cyber Zero YUK, Frost, and Hydro really no need for him plus HE'S GONE - bring Sub Zero back either as DLC, Ultimate version of game, or next game)
