I was thinking about the reveal trailer...I'm one of the few people who actually liked the way the music in it paired up with the fight. And I had an interesting idea I would like to throw out there.

I think it would be really awesome if NRS were able to put an original soundtrack together for this game. Have a different band/artist create an original song for every fighting stage in the game, and the player can choose in the Options portion of the menu whether or not they want the regular fighting stage music made by NRS to play during the fights, or if they want the music created by different artists/bands to play. And they could actually release the original music as an MKX soundtrack album.

It wouldn't be the first time that a game franchise releases an actual soundtrack album you can buy. Grand Theft Auto has done it before. It could be a special thing for them to do considering this is the 10th game in the franchise.

Before you hate, REMEMBER: I AM ONLY SUGGESTING THIS AS AN OPTION THE PLAYER HAS, WHICH YOU CAN TURN ON/OFF.

Don't get me wrong; I love the creepy, atmospheric music that MK fighting stages tend to have. Variety is, however, the spice of life.

So what does everyone think? Yay or nay? lol

Eh, I'm not into "songs" being the game. By songs I mean with lyrics and shit. The music should accompany and compliment the fight, not distract. I don't wanna be listening to lyrics while fighting.

With that said, there are exceptions. Orchid's theme has vocals, though very low in the mix, that work well. Actually all of the vocals used in KI serve more as instruments, which is a great approach. But I don't think an outside band/artist is going to create anything with that in mind.

Basically, Mick Gordon should do the soundtrack. haha

Like I said, I want this only as an option. I don't want rock and hip hop songs to be there in place of Don Forden's music.

It could be a nice DLC package in theorem.

Not many people would find a use for it though, you don't pay attention to the music most of the time.
