MKX characters revealed theory

It seems that NRS is revealing characters that are playable in MK X based on order of the timeline that will be explained in MK X comics.
Since we know that the comics is the prequel of MK X, so absolutely that they will reveal the returning or veteran characters first besides 4 new characters that has been revealed since the first announcement trailer.
I think it is so logic because NRS want to keep us curious what kind of new characters will be in MKX?

For example : because comic no 1- 3 the timeline is still very close to MK9 therefore, the character that being revealed is the returning characters such as Raiden, Kano,Quan Chi who will definitely plays a major role in MK X storyline, after that they just released. Kung Lao! Kitana whom I believe will be revealed soon also in earlier MK X comics...

So for the new characters or post MK3 characters will be revealed in later episodes of the comics and so does the revealed of the new characters officially by NRS in near released of the game, that's why we still don't get a new or post MK 3 characters till now, what is your thoughts guys?

I just hope that we will get Takeda and the female Jax is training. I say Mileena, Reiko and Reptile will also be in. Fujin is a possibility as well.

Chapter 1 was the only one a few years after MK9; starting with Chapter 2, the comic's 15 years afterwards and staying there except for flashbacks. Given that Kung Lao and Kitana haven't even been seen or mentioned in the comic and have already been revealed, this theory doesn't really work. Also, given that it's becoming increasingly safe to say that Takeda is going to be playable, wouldn't he have already been revealed instead of Kung Lao or Kitana?

I know it's not a great business strategy, but they should release the whole damn roster. I would still get the game either way. We don't need a trailer for each fighter. I just wish we could see the confirmed select screen of faces. That would have us talking for real.

I'm the EXACT same way. I like to know exactly what I'm paying for. Knowing or seeing more only increases the likelihood of me paying for something.

No. I really doubt the comic figures into the release schedule for game info.

Plus, most of the comic (including chapters 2 and 3) take place 15 years after MK9. It's not right after MK9. That was just chapter 1 and the first two pages of chapter 2.

Ok, but why till now they don't reveal any single of the new characters and even the post MK 3 characters? I think it makes sense that NRS don't reveal them so early, because it will not be interesting and the storyline will be too predictable if they reveal any of them too early, they will keep us wondering, that's why we won't see any of the new characters and the post MK3 characters till now, they will be introduced gradually in MK X comic I believe...

NRS will keep us guess WHO'S NEXT??? To be revealed and keep our curious mode on...

Honestly, I'm so hyped for this game, can't wait for the release anymore, just wonder when will the game arrive in my country, Indonesia if the release date is 14 April 2015...
