We already had characters from MK1 to MK3 on MK9.. Mainly. On MKX they should focus more on characters from MK4 to MKD.. But sadly they won't.

Well with these new variations and awesome designs and intro's its kinda like they would all be new again.

I really disliked Raiden in MK9, but in MKX he looks like a stud with all that lightning and teleporting.

Now I wonder for most characters what their styles could be. Not for SOnya Blade tho.

Im with ya. This game is going to be so fresh. Like you said, I was not a raiden fan in mk9, never have been but now I can't wait to try him out; his moves look freaking sweet. And his costume, although it is basically the same as he has always looked, looks somehow fresh and really good. I still can not get over how amazing the graphics are and NRS is really taking advantage of next gen which I love.

Well Raiden's outfit may be the same, but in his Storm Lord outfit his hat has lightning on it! That looks more than awesome!

Can't believe i'm hyping for Raiden, thought that would never happen again...

HA! me neither kinda crazy. But now I have super high hopes for all returning characters.

Ya his hat has lightning on one, his forearms have lightning on Thundergod, and for Displacer his entire body pulses lightning. It is kind of cool because it looks like his body is ready at all times to teleport.

If they do such awesome stuff for Raiden, I can't wait to see Fujin with his tornado's, gust attacks and whatever else they come up with.

I think Fujin will be awesome as well; he is another character that has the potential to have visually stunning move sets.

Other MK4-MKD characters I can't wait for:

Kenshi- I thought they did a good job on differentiating him from ermac in mk9 with the use of his sword. Can't wait to see him in MKX (and he is one of those almost shoe-in characters for MKX)

Havik- Really cool concept for a character and i would like to see the chaos realm make its return. If Havik is in Hotaru is almost surely in (or a new character to replace Hotaru) But i think Hotaru has some untapped potential that NRS can buff up in MKX.

Tanya- I never really played with Tanya but she has a HUGE following on these forums and I want to see what NRS can do with her. I usually am not a fan of female MK characters but so far D'Vorah and Cassie are peaking my interest; I could definitely see my self playing as them. D'Vorah is my favorite new character revealed.

Maybe for Kenshi he has this variation that his sword floats with him all the time, doing attacks from a distance or mimicking every fighthing move that Kenshi makes, if he kicks the swords slashes ect.

I always like Stryker. As a kid he was cool to me because he was the guy with the gun lol. But yes I agree what about those characters. Quan chi, shinnok and Kenshi are obvious for MkX. Fujin and Tanya are more than likely. Reiko and Kai could be in. But people like Jarek( who's design wasn't bad imo), Hsu Hao, Kobra, Darrius, Kira, mavado, and Dairou will probably never be seen again. I don't understand the love for Li mei she was a ass character very bland. Drahmin looks cool and deserves a second chance they could do a lot with him his look is awesome and he had a good story him and moloch would be a killer tag team sub boss. Havik is great and probably will be in MkX. Hotaru is decent and is a wildcard he could be in because of havik or he could miss out but overall he wasn't that bad. Frost could be seen again. Ashram probably will maybe not in this one but in the next or even dlc. I think we will at least be getting shinnok, fujin, Tanya, Kenshi and maybe havik or reiko at least.
