Nice. I just hope it isn't another completely obvious reveal, like oh, say, Quan Chi.

But considering the event, I think it might be an easily recognizable classic character. I'm thinking one of the many villains that survived MK9. Baraka, Mileena, Reptile....someone along those lines.

It would be great to see additional characters and a new stage or two, but what I am really hoping for is that they announce new gameplay mechanics (if there are any, and I hope there are).

For instance, Injustice's gameplay was expanded further by adding the wager system and the interactable environments. MKX has yet again the super meter (EX moves, Breakers, X-Ray's), added environment interactions from Injustice in a more realistic and limited fashion, and running as a new mechanic. I would like to see them give this game some additional mechanics as well. For example, a counter system like we saw in the first SZ vs Scorpion trailer, or the ability to use weapons as another part of environment interactability

It's very much possible. Think if it's around 28-30 characters in the game and the game most likely will come out from around march-may if they reveled one character per month that wouldn't be soon enough for everyone to be revelead that are in the game. So it can be very much likely we can get two this month.

Id go with Tanya and Fujin. I think Ed wants to save the rest of the newbies for last.

I don't think there will be 30 characters with every character having 2 x-rays and 3 fighting styles.

It would be too much for them too do... I think it will be 24... I hope 30 tho, I would hate 24...

Obviously I want Reptile but I expect an MK4 character.
Reiko, Fujin, or Tanya. I'm way okay with any of these.

No Sonya, No Johnny, No Kano, No predictable vets. Raiden's reveal was letdown enough for me.

I'm ready for a MK4-MKD character reveal along with another all new character.

i can see a MK4 -DA-D character and maybe if it two characters i can see a new character with a MK4-DA-D as well

Well I hope it is truly a memorable character or characters to be revealed next.

I'm going to SDCC this year so i'll post whatever I see and/or hear.

It will possibly be streamed.

Any returnees from MK4-MKD and new character(s) is my guess. Will be happy with whomever we get.

If Johnny and Sonya were predictable, people wouldn't be doubting their inclusion in the game. :/ I don't know about Kano, but I wouldn't mind if he came back.

I definitely look forward to seeing an MK4-onward character, though. Preferably Fujin, Havik, or Ashrah. :)

They didn't say it would be as many characters as mk9. And it's not too much with X-rays and fatalities. They've had 4 years to work on this.

My prediction is Fujin. My hope is Reptile. And if it is two reveals then one will most likely be new. My hope for new character being re-imagined Tremor.

Well my predictions are Havik and Voodoo Type Character with a brand new stage!

Tremor and Fujin being the elemental awesome duo reveal! Jeez i'm going nuts if that is happening!

Well there might be 30 characters in the final roster, I think it is fine if they reveal at least 2 each month.
And Reiden was kind of expected to be in MKX so I think that is ok to reassess another next month.
Plus I don't think they will reveal every character in Gaming events.
Why not a random trailer.

Well if we do get another character reveal any time soon, I think it might be a new character

Perhaps 1 new character, hopefully a returning vet from the MK4-Deception era.

I said even before the reveal trailer that this game is probably way further in production than we think, and after saying at E3 that they're ahead of schedule, I would be surprised if we saw not one but maybe even two reveals at Comic-Con.

Hopefully Sareena and a Netherrealm inspired stage.

Would like 1 new, one post mk4, maybe a new tarkatan and Reiko or Fujin.

I think we'll get one new character reveal, a new stage, and a story mode teaser, probably wrapped all together in one trailer. I get the excitement but people who thought we'd get more at EVO were reaching too high and hoping too much. By spacing out the character reveals they keep fans clamoring for more. As much as I would love to see everything and know everything about the game, it won't happen.


Now as for who I hope they reveal, I hope they reveal a returning character. Boon has been retweeting about Ermac and Reptile for quite some time now. Personally I hope we get Reptile with a stage similar to his Lair, and a trailer that mentions the first war of the heavens and how Reptile is the last surviving male member of his race, and how he has a decision to make, whether he will join Raiden and help him, or try and put an end to one of the people responsible for the death of his race.
