If this does happen then it could definitely hurt the MK series.

They are trying to make money, not pretty graphics.


More people have the current gen consoles and almost every MK fan will buy the game even if it's on current gen because it's one of their best selling games.


Not as many people are going to have the Xbox 360 and ps3, so they can't make as much money on it.


It will also cost more to make the game for the next gen systems.

So, IMO they should go with current gen and wait a while before going with next gen.

i think they should forget releasing a game every year.. and sit back for a while, maybe work on something else.. then bring out mk for next gen wen they are popular enough.. otherwise i still wouldnt mind buying another mk on xbox

Umm, no. They are not lazy. You aren't even comprehending how their work goes. It's not about fun, or wanting to create something new every-time, it's a full time hard work. This is their job, NOT to keep you entertained beyond measure, but to make money.

They are responsible for their time limit with one game. Thats why they finish it with a haste to avoid further assignment of resources to a project that is streching beyond that very limit.

Either they make cuts, or afford a catastrophic drop on their bank acco-unts as a company. Which one is the better? Easy, rather cut the game, but stay with a job.

Aother thing. I am not very happy with the idea of people equalising engine with gameplay. The two are mostly two different things. I don't care if the last MK in this cobnsole gnereation will look like MK5-6, if the fighting game is made properly. A good fighter is what MK needs not a -ohmyfu-ckinggollydollycheckthisouthowIfindthispretty- graphics.

What can you do with a dazzling graphic execution if the MK will play like shit? There is no point. Besides, MKDA-MKD both had prety decent gra-phics both above the average. Graphic detail and graphic design is two different things.

If Im right The MK will be released this time next year so what will hapen is MK7 will be released for XBOX 360 and will have a suck version for PS2 since PS3 wont come out intil early 2007
