I personally think this would be the best name AND the best game !

Mortal Kombat: Retribution. It fits with the general theme of the game, much like Deception was: Raiden's demand for retribution against Shujinko for unwillingly reviving Onaga, Mileena masquerading as Kitana to get retribution for what she believes to be her birthright, Onaga's assault on Edenia and anyone else associated with Shao Kahn in retribution for the Outworld Emperor's betrayal against him, the One Being's ploy to reclaim his body and destroy all of reality as retribution against the Elder Gods who shattered him in the first place... Pretty much, just as Deception was all about the - well, deceptions - of the various characters in the game for their own gain, the next game, I think, will focus on retribution and regaining what the various characters believe they had lost or are entitled to as compensation for something. One way or another, I think, someone in the MK universe WILL get their just deserts. Just who it will be, and what ramifications it will have on the rest of the universe, we'll just have to see...

MK7 is too plain. unoriginal. sounds like something...blech... sounds like something Tekken would do. and DOA. and Virtua Fighter. and Soul Caliber. and Street Fighter. but of course, this is coming from a guy with Jack on his sig....SPY!!
