I just want to say, I'm really getting the vibe that this will be to MK9 what MK2 was to MK1. Darker tone, more gruesome and detailed fatalities, a ton of new characters.

I'm really excited, I think this has the potential to be the best MK yet. The team seems so inspired and the work they've shown us illustrates that. I'm glad we're not retreading old territory, at least not completely.

I couldnt agree more. Dark under tones set a great feel for kombat. New characters are fresh and original. I am excited. This game will definitely be building on the last and growing.
