Im not sure if this has been posted on this forum but here it is anyway.
I would really love to see MK on the PC again as a fully developed, in-depth role playing game like World of Warcraft. But it should also contain a single player campaign.
-A MKRPG containing items such as weapons, armor, ect.
-The MK universe in the RPG is like MK:D, with the different realms that you can travel through.
-Your MK character can learn different moves and skills to aid him/her self in combat.
-Quests ect.
-Trading (Online)
-And of course a great story.
Imagine how good MK characters and arenas would look like on the PC utilizing its technology, not to mention how the RPG formula would work in the MK universe.
I have no idea on how they could make this type of MK game but just thinking about it makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

MK should have an RPG version of every game that comes out, that way it would appeal to a much greater audience. I would like to see those boss battles too!

I doubt it would work. The greater portion of the MK fanbase doesn't have the patience or mentality to comprehend or play a role playing game.

You dont know that for sure. Probably more people prefer it in the fighting game system but remember RPG's can be very action orientated. If the MK RPG has this large amount of action ( hack n slash type RPG) then it could be a extremely popular title.
Also the MK games need to explore other gaming type formulas.

Well so you want it to be like wow which is an online rpg but with a single player too? Maybe it would be better to say you want it like diablo.
As for the overall idea. It wouldnt sell worth crap. If it was a mmorpg it would be laughed at. There are far too many mmorpg's now and several had existing fanbases must larger than MK. MK in general won't go over with pc gamers because typically they care about actual gameplay and not cheap gimmicks. It would be greeted with laughs and even if it was good it would be ignored by the pc gaming community for the most part.

Who said it had to be for the PC gaming industry in general?
The last couple of MK games for console have been directed towards fans not the fighting game community.
This is why i think it will be a success with MK fans. And also i did not say the game would be a cheap gimmick. I stated as a fully developed in-depth role playing game equivilant to diablo and wow.
