Just wanted to write a bit of a post about the male ninjas of MK and come to their defence a bit as I have read so much shit trashing the ninjas and complaining about too many ninjas in the game especially now with the inclusion of Ermac so let me start;

First of all I don't believe the ninjas made MK or necessarily make it what it is but they are a very important part of MK and helped back in the days of the original trilogy to launch it and make it a success, I remember as a kid everyone played MK1 and MK2 and most people's favourites were the ninjas Scorpion, Subzero and Reptile and the mystery of the hidden ninjas Noob and Smoke in MK2 and Reptile in MK1 captivated everyone and then MK3 came with no real ninjas (except an unmasked Sub Zero) and it was no where near as popular as the others although this was due to other reasons as well I am certain the dropping of the ninjas had something to do with it because the very next games to come out UMK3 and MKTrilogy had lots and lots of ninjas and presto the games were extremely popular again!

My second point is since the original trilogy there isn't really that many ninjas left anymore to call Reptile and Ermace ninjas anymore is just ridiculous reptile is pretty much a little dinosaur and Ermac .... Well I am not sure what he is but I don't know many ninjas that float and have telekinetic powers. Even Rain in his last appearance was much more prince of Persia style then ninja leaving only sub, scorpion, smoke and noob left as true ninja type characters and well that's because they are ninjas so there's not much you can do with that!

So basically from a game that went from having. 7 ninja clones down to 4 ninjas all with completely different unique moves and stories is pretty good I think so please people lay off the ninja bashing they are important to MK past and future and here's hoping we can see noob and smoke make the cut for this new game too!!!
