The story is the most confusing one in any video game I know.

On a sidenote: If you really think about it, it could only come in Febraury, since MKD's news came in Febraury 2004, and also considering the fact that MK7 is going to be released this year, which means there isn't much time left for the MK crew to introduce the game, so IMO they need to speak out on MK7 as soon as possible;

Heck the last time I checked I think there was Tekken and Virtual Fighter news...Yet no MK news eventhough it's being released this year..

To Pretentious: I never said Raiden is supposed to be the most interesting character. I'm simply saying that his new story path is more interesting. I think that his new persona needs some explanation behind it, that's all. At least with this new story path, it can progress somewhere.

Regarding Sub-Zero, it's not supposed to add anything to his character, but it's supposed to add something more to his storyline. His race seems to pretty much be gone, but the question is, how? How did his race interact with people such as Shao Kahn and Onaga? Did his race have any important roles or significances in Outworld? Was Sub-Zero destined for something regarding his race? I think you need to really think outside the box and really consider various possibilities that can come from all this. From the way it seems, Sub-Zero finding that armor is probably no coincidence and that he's destined for something even greater.

Like I said before, I don't think they're going to make him the main hero or anything. He is a pretty important ally already, isn't he? Anyway, when you bring Noob Saibot's identity revelation in MKD, it really opens up for even more development for both the brothers.

To Chrome: What do you mean in regards to the armor possibly being assembled with the Dragon Medallion? Are you trying to say that the Dragon Medallion is connected to the ancestral armor Sub-Zero wears?

To queve: Yes, MK3 obviously adds depth to MK2 as MK1 - MK3 is basically the trilogy of the first saga of the MK storyline. I didn't think MK2's main story was uninspired. How else would you do MK2's main story?

I really hope it's not released this year. It would be too damn rushed if it comes out this year.
