My local HMV has it listed for 3rd of June.

This game is utterly USELESS considering they just released the retelling of MK1-3 in MK9.

Why waste their resources when they come focus on the "future?"

Has Boon or anyone at NRS stated anything about this? I've seen 1 random screenshot, but that's all.

I would love to see these games released in HD. Is there anything out there more concrete than IGN's status of cancelled?

I remember the first initial rumor release date for this. I walked into Gamestop and said "I'll take a copy of the new MK". He politely replied " uh, dude, you know that doesn't come out until next year right". Oh what a fantastic moment in life that was. I personally do hope this is released though. I'm currently working on a custom cabinet for my ps3 and MK games. It would be nice to not have to use MKT on the pretty cab I built. I still need to get MK4 yet. That's the only one I don't own. If I decide to splurge a little more I can stack my x360 in there and play the awesome MK1 port I got with MKD. It works just fine and I love MKT, but it's just not fitting with the updates and all. High hopes remain here.

i know that a skew for this game was released to gamestop for reservations, only to be immediately removed.

Mortal kombat has already come out and we have yet to hear anything about this game.

I am sure it was in development at one point. however, if they ended up cancelling the project, can we still demand that they release the game? anybody interested in making a petition for the game?
