I don't know if people on here remember you for having inside sources with info on upcoming mk games.
Anyways, here are some of your posts I remember reading that I dug up. I think it's weird though that some of the stuff you say, contradicts other things you say and while some of it turned out to be true, other stuff didn't. Such as, in one thread you say that your inside source says (in your words), "Game will have around about 20 fighters, balancing the game seems to be very important now.
Expect something a bit special from the create a fighter mode."
Well I believe MK VS DC had about 20 fighters or so but the game didn't have "Create a Fighter" as far as I know. Here's the link to that thread: link
Also, you go on to say in another thread that your sources say the following (in your words), "This game will not be a crossover, however it will feature characters from another series.
Pinch of salt time until its confirmed but from my sources say we will have a few characters from the unreal universe."
I don't know if you didn't type out what you were thinking correctly or what but you say that the series is not a crossover in that post but say it will have characters from another series? So which is it? Also MK VS DC didn't turn out to have Unreal characters.
Link to that thread: here
In this thread you go on to say, "Theres no way in hell this is going to be anything else other than an M or 18."
Just to let you know I'm not calling you a liar or anything and if you are sharing info with us about upcoming releases that's great. The thing I don't understand is, why would your sources tell you something that turned out to not be true?

Oh you know what? That's right! I remember you Cyberdog. You said a week or so before it was announced (if not before that) that the next MK game was going to have DC characters. I remember saying how full of crap you were on that and then completely eating crow.
You were absolutely right and I was 100% wrong.
So at the very least, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here. If you say the MK team will be at GDC, then I'll believe you even without the link. I feel like I owe you that much after all the smack I talked.

Don't expect a playable build until E3. The team still has a ton of work to do. The GDC listing only states WB Games will be attending, but does not indicate the MK Team will be there.
GDC lame info!

I guess the chance is there but I figure Ed Boon would have posted on his Twitter if he was going to San Francisco and just 11 hours ago he posted:
"Fog fog fog in Chicago. It's like that movie "The Mist" or is it Myst?"
So he is beyond a shadow of doubt in Chicago.

I wouldn't give him too much credit. As Bloodhound stated, he changed his story multiple times, said there would be a new female fighter (wasn't), and initially didn't even mention DC.
The DC rumor predated his posts, so he probably just picked it up as he went along. The only thing he got right was that Jax was returning, but that's not a gamble.

I'm a bit unfamaliar from GDC, but from what I remember, the convention isnt for game announcements or game demos. I thought's it's where game developlers discuss about stuff, and make speeches and talks. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Indeed GDC stands for "Game Developers Conference". It's more of a get-together of game developers

i think that it lasts til the 13th or 14th so we have plenty of time for any leaks and info. a lot of GDC is going to be kept secretive though until E3. you will be able to see some interviews here and there on sites and see very few game trailors and stuff but i really have a feeling that we will not see more than that. i dont even think we will get info for MK9 yet. it would be nice but i am doubting it. according to ign Sony's panel is or was today and may actually still be going on...i would stay tuned to your favorite game sites to catch the news as it comes.
here is a url with some pre show stuff and they will post interviews as the become available....http://www.gamebreakr.com/

Agreed. I'm tempted to say the SSF4 character leak is a good indicator for what to expect for MK8, but in retrospect, I think that was more viral marketing masquerading as a leak.
