One thing that has been forgotten or hasn't been asked in any of the interviews with Ed is the appearance of mini-games.

They have ranged in success and execution from the Test Your Might staple, to the half baked Racing Kombat. Having said that, they have appeared in enough of the series to be considered apart of the MK fighting experience.

Do you guys think that a mini game will appear or will MKX forego the mini-game in favour of focusing on other aspects of the game.

Keep in mind there has been mini-games in every MK since MK:DA. I actually can't remember if there was a mini-game in MKvsDC or not. I don't think there was actually, but that was its own thing.

I hope that all of the MK9 mini-games will return. There really is no downside to not including them. I'm sure people out there hate or don't enjoy those modes, but it's a relatively quick add on and the people that do enjoy them have them there and the ones that hate it don't have to bother.

I really enjoyed the MK Vita mini games that they introduced but I'm not sure how they would be able to incorporate them with the existing technology.

Lastly, I hope in addition to the MK9 mini-games they introduce at least one new mini-game. Maybe just a straight up chess game. IDK I can't think of anything right now.

Little things like Test Your Might are 100% ok with me. MK9 and Injustice got the side modes right. Konquest and the other garbage mini games from Deception and Armageddon can fuck off. That's how I feel anyway.

I loved Chess and Puzzle but I can live without them. Puzzle should probably the stay as a once off thing, but Chess I think would be a really cool addition to the series

- Chess
- 8-Kombat (MKT before facing the Chameleon)
- Konquest MKDA
- Test your Luck - Story Mode - Tower of Challenges - Konquest MKD

And separate the Tower of Challenges. Both in the region as part of the menu in game 2 opponents (not online) and Arcade.

- Test Your Might
- Test Your Sight
- Test Your Strike
- Test Your Balance
- Test your would point

This. Bring back MK9's challenger tower, and Injustice's side modes. The rest is a waste of space. No Kart racing, no Chess or Puzzle combat. And Konquest should be a separate game in the vein of Shaolin Monks.

NRS needs to put all their energy into improving the combat. Don't waste resources on adventure modes or other mini-games.
The only thing i was punched in the face by a little was when he said "No there is no conquest mode for this itteration of the game, the one thing i enjoyed most (in Deception) was the conquest mode :'(
Ah well im sure they are going to have a really interesting story i guess.

I want Chess Kombat back, it's still awesome, I still play it in a weekly basis. It's so much fun. And it should be simple to implement it in new titles (I think). It's a great idea that doesn't do harm to the main series. Also, Deception's Konquest fucking ruled.
