I hope it's true though. It's just so hilarious to think that some players are so pathetically lazy that they'd waste actual money to unlock something they could get by just playing the game. It'd be even funnier if it cost plenty.

After watching the gamespot video about their time with the game,i dont have a problem with micro transactions. They mentioned unlocking extra finishers n not just fatalities through ur factions along with alt costumes,etc.. i think the transactions will be for ppl who dont wanna have to play all the challenges to unlock them. They have a CHOICE to buy them instead. Ur not being forced to buy them just like gta 5. Plus it sounds like they r putting alot of effort to pumping out kontent for this game. They mentioned awhile back that they had some surprise dlc besides kharacters so it sounds like they r focused on making this game last instead of making another one soon which is the right choice.

With so many new kharacters,they can add alot of klassics in DLC. Annd ppl need to remember,its not like the old days where it was cheap to make a game. It cost millions of dollars now. I have no problem with micro transactions. I like having a CHOICE to wanna buy the unlockables instead of wanting to play alot to unlock them.

As long as we have a choice im cool with it, that way the people that want to pay for it can and the people that want to earn in-game can do that as well.

I think it's more of a time thing. Some people just don't have the time to grind in order to get unlockables. I know in KI, you have to be a level 30 to in lock the 6th color. It takes a long ass time to get there. So if people wanna take a shortcut with in-game currency I see no problem.

Are you serious? You are ok with it? No wonder they keep doing this shit. In the old days it was called cheat codes and it was for free. You don't want to put time and effort into the game than simply press the right combination and enjoy. Why should I pay additionally if I already paid 60$ for a game???

Some say ok I will just grind a little bit and get the content for free. But some developers intentionally make it very tedious to discourage people and make them pay. So essentially the put price tag on you time. You need 3h to get a costume or pay 5$. Is your time worth that much or not?

I really, really hope it will not be the case with MKX.

I am a hardcore MK fan so I will probably buy it no matter what but I skip some other games when they try to charge me for something I already bought.

I know what you are saying, but, as a fan of Forza racing series, I really prefer to have the option. It's either, you play through such and such mode and unlock, or, if you rather have that kharacter bought since you have the enough money to spare for that. As an only player who absolutely hate story in a fighting games, if my favorite kharacter is in the game and can only be unlocked through story, or have an option to BUY her out, I will pay however much money they want for her so I don't HAVE to touch the mode I hate most, which also shows how much I like the kharacter that I am even willing to PAY to play as her, and to play as her RIGHT AWAY. Now, like before, people can attack me, curse me or whatever, but I don't like to be FORCED into playing through the mode I DON'T like in order to unlock kharacters. I know I caused a problem before by saying this before, but I just can't seem to like the story in a fighting games. Not just MK, but any fighting games. I Am an old fart who still misses the Arcade days where there were no crappy story modes in. I always pay money to get the supercars like lambo or Koenigsegg and others in a Forza that I want when I am short on credits so this isn't new to me anyways.
