Same. Maybe it's time for a new robotic character? Other than a "cyber ninja"?

The Sektor can not stay as it is because of the story. Medallion has an effect that causes it. But can discuss what it is.

I agree Sektor should be a massive tank of a character. He may have started out as an assassin but the character is all about becoming more powerful. Doesn't seem like he'd still be assassinating people after he takes charge of the Lin Kuei, he'd be the one calling the shots. Have him be the big bad boss of the clan that he has the potential to be.

But if they make him the sleeker, quicker more slender design and Cyrax the Earthrealm tank I'd be cool with that too. I think both are badass as long as they are different. Slightly prefer Sektor to be the tank tho because I loved their designs in MK9 and it seemed like they were goin that direction.

If he is in MKX, he could have cybernetics or become more cyber-ish due to his old age.

I'm not sure about making any existing cyborgs huge, but I know I'd love to play as that huge saw-wielding cyborg from MKM, even if it was shrunk a bit.

Then he would be cybernetic, like Jax, Sektor, Cyrax and Sub-Zero... not robotic. ;P

I fear for Sektor...

1) Sub-Zero #10.000 is obviously in control of the Lin Kuei again, which means Sektor has lost it.

2) Cyrax is more loved than Sektor and higher on that freaking online-play list.

3) Cassie Cage is seen summoning rockets from the sky, much like Sektors abilities.

4) Sektor is one of the least played characters in 2011 game.

It doesn't look good for my all-time favorite cyborg... I fear all the attention he's getting is being killed by Sub-Zero in the intro movie or during the storymode.

A shame, Sektors model was so much more beautiful in MK2011 than all others combined. His story could be very interesting unlike many other bad-guys and hes just so much cooler than Cyrax.

i'll miss you Sektor, you're a victim of the people of earth, that only choose characters they know to control or which they know from the storymode...

Sektor was already bulky compared to Cyrax.
But I can imagine he would definitely have modified himself a few times within a 25 yr span. I can't picture him being a Goro size character but bulkier sure

I do not think he was being modified in 25 years. But we have to take into account the medallion.

I would much rather see a Sektor after 25 years of psychosis and deterioration after losing the medallion. A character deadly only by his madness even though his body has gone to shit. Deadly through malfunction.

I don't care if he's bigger but Lex Luthor big would suck.

Hahaha... Chrome will be my first. He should be honored.

Doesn't anybody wonder how these characters continue to change their looks sometimes almost completely?

Take Scorpion for instance. Does he make his own clothes? Does somebody make it for him? Is there a special shirai ryu store that he goes to?

On topic:
I think Sektor's original look is his best by far. So until they can top that, that's what I want to see. Of course that look might not make sense 25 years later though. Robotic upgrade of that look or something?

Sektor loses the medallion as we can see that some Subby has it. This is assuming Sektor/Cyrax's endings are canon. I don't see it not being canon as both Bi-Han and Kuai Liang got dunked in MK9.

If Sektor lost this battle, there are 4 options, in my mind:

A) He was killed /thread.
-Ends up in the Netherrealm? NoobSek? Wraith/Tekunin hybrid?
-Stays dead
-Joins Shinnok's forces or some other big bad?

B) He was badly defeated and wouldn't have the opportunity to build.
-Flees to form the Tekunin
-Kept captive/frozen/inactive by the Lin Kuei
-Programming goes nuts again. Unpredictable/rogue/cliffhanger
-Beaten so bad that he simply is written off as a non-threat
-Stays close by to prepare for one final attack of desperation.

C) He is banished or transported away, delaying this battle.
-Outworld
-Chaos realm (he would fit right in with Havik if his programming went)
-Netherrealm
-Orderrealm to be locked up surely? Hotaru would just LOVE Sektor

D) He leaves by choice
-Tekunin/personal motives as a result of Lin Kuei revolt /Frost?
-Knows he is no match for Subzero
-With the Netherrealm attack, he might make a move we can't see.


No matter what, if he faces any Subzero, he will die. Bi-Han isn't merciful and Kuai Liang has to be PISSED if he comes back. A new Subzero, to command the Lin Kuei, would have to take it by force as it is still technically aligned and devoted to Outworld forces. There is a chance that this agreement could be null and void if Shao Kahn is truly dead. This Subby would have to be a beast, regardless.

See I'm the other way around. I think Sektor would get into the heavy artillery. He's the one who would, given time take his automation to the extreme and become like Brainiac. Anyway, he's the one that always struck me as being the tank. Flamethrowers, missile pods, machine guns etc.

Cyrax, and maybe it's the name always gave me the impression of a character who'd be more lithe and focused on acids for some reason. But I'll take him being a trap and demo specialist.

Smoke always struck me as the character that was closest to the potential Metal Gear cyber ninja like Grey Fox or Raiden. If they made a cyborg of him now I'd imagine him being state of the art, nano-machine infused all sleek and reflective surfaces. Look at Adam Jensen's arms from Deus Ex 3 and apply that design to the entire body.
