Liu Kang casually confirmed to be in game by Italian voice actor

Hi guys, long time no see.
I just wanted to show you this little tidbit which confirms Liu Kang's presence in the game, even if it is not clarified as a playable character or not.
Basically, someone on ask.fm asked a notorious Italian voice actor if he was involved in Mortal Kombat X's voice acting, since the game is also dubbed in Italian and he answered the following: "Liu Kang :)"
While I don't know how to link the specific question itself, I can show you the website of the profile so that you can check on your own (http://ask.fm/TheMerluzz) and translate here for you you the specific question.

Ciao Maurizio, hai per caso doppiato qualcuno (ovviamente senza dire chi) nell'edizione italiana di Mortal Kombat X? Dai primi trailer si riconoscono Claudio Moneta e Mario Zucca, sarebbe bello sentire pure la tua voce in questo gran gioco :)

Hi Maurizio (his name), did you have any voice over dub in the Italian edition of Mortal Kombat X? From the first dubbed footages we can recognise the voice of Claudio Moneta and Mario Zucca (two Italian voice actors), it would be great to hear your voice as well in this game :)

No, they can not. Human nature is one way of saying people make mistakes.

Anyway, no surprises really. Liu Kang is a very popular character and with his ending being warped away by Raiden and all, it was a safe bet.

It's actually a genius way to find out who's in the game. Instead of asking the English voice actors, ask the Dub actors. Let's find some more!

They may have not signed NDA's or just have looser lips.grin

yeah, its not surprising that foreign dubbers would have very little loyalty to the NRS team unlike the original american voice actors.

I would rather not to be honest be spoiled. It would make the reveals just pointless and make the wait for the game even longer.

Did anyone really think Liu wasn't at least going to be in the game? Whatever about playable, but they weren't about to say 'oh yeah, Liu got fried when Raiden goofed. He's dead and the only dead character who's staying dead this time".

I still think he's the arcade boss. It seems the exact kind of shit that Boon loves. Superman in IGAU, Liu in MKX

Whenever Liu Kang appears in an MK game, he always seems to retain his original martial art moveset like his Flying Kick, Chicken Feet, and other Bruce Lee cliché moves. I'd like to see Liu use more heavy fire and grappling-based attacks in a brutal moveset coinciding with how Liu Kang has changed since getting killed by Raiden and how he longer is going to show any mercy to anyone threatening Earthrealm.

This may be a little lame, but what if he had a revamp of his Flame Engulf from MK3? This time he sets his hand on his opponents head and sets them on fire, they burn away like how paper would and leave a pile of ashes.

Has any of MK9's character endings been confirmed as canon by anything that we know about MKX?

Because if not, people shouldn't be throwing that around as a convenient argument for their favourite character returning or/and with the changes depicted in their endings.

I have a few Fatality ideas for MKX Liu Kang:

He sets his fist aflame and punches it through his opponent's chest, but instead of going horizontally, the fist end comes right underneath the opponent's chin as if a crescent moon went through the guy's chest. Then Liu's hand grabs the exposed spinal vertebrae in the throat and snaps it off. After snapping it off in his fist, he pulls the opponent's spine along with his head into the chest cavity and out of the chest hole his fist originally punched through and holds up the opponent's head and spine still burning.

He grabs the opponent's head with his right hand and heats it up by setting it ablaze. The fire burns the entire opponent's head while he/she is still screaming while the fire spreads midway to the upper half of the opponent's body. After a few seconds, Liu lets out of the head and commences a powerful Flying Kick to the opponent's burning body portion which explodes into soft chunks of gore and blood as a result from the heat of the fire.
