The two main heroes pretty much. Both are now dead. I know some think Liu can come back badly burned but he was dead not just burned. Kung Lao clearly dead, have we seen the last of these Shaolin Monks?
The story of MK is in a dangerous spot right now. While it can really go on forever with adding new characters, it does mean some of our favourites will have to go for good. They already brought Liu back once and doing it again might be a mistake. Once they are done with re telling MK4-MKD where will the story go?
Who will be the main protagonist in future MK games? A new character, or will a returning character take up the responsibility as the new champion?
