Like the previous person said, i love how she is a normal outworlder. I lover herfighting style too. I want her to be Bo Rai Cho's next apprentice in MKX. And fight for her people. Her not being in MKX would be a HUGE opportunity. She could show how the war affects the innocent people in Outworld.

I hate her Deception ending too. It was completely different than how Li Mei was potrayed in Deadly Alliance. I love the idea that she is just a plain Outworlder also.

I've always had a soft spot for Li Mei. I absolutely loved her acrobatic special moves, and would love to see her return with a fully fleshed out moveset. Design wise I much prefer her Deception look (especially the armor) and I think she has so much potential to return as a badass heroine.

Her story has always interested me the most - a slave fighting to free her people, and succeeding in getting all the way to Shang Tsung and Quan Chi (its always rare for a female character to 'win' a tournament in a fighting game). I think she is still very relevant in this time line, and would be very disappointed if she was left out.
