I didn't make a petition now, did I? Tremor got in cause a lot of people requested him, petition or not, and the same goes for Tanya. IF they include more DLC after the Kombat Pass Fujin is likely to get one spot, I believe if we make it clear we want Havik, he is likely to get another.

Hey, I'm all for supporting a character especially Havik, but I just think you are going on a hopeless quest and you're mind is set on the wrong settings.

Tremor didn't get in because of the petition, he got in regardless of the petition.

And in all honestly, Fujin deserves to be in more than Havik does, I like Havik a lot more than I like Fujin but I realize who is more deserving, I realize who didn't get a good appearance.

So I'll pass on Havik, especially if your reasoning behind it is "Tremor petition worked, therefore this petition will work"

I support a petition to call for the end of petitions for character's inclusions.

I get what your point OP for "getting fans of insert character name here to be heard", but it's really way to late in the game to kick up a storm about any one particular character.

We've been discussing these kinds of things AND characters since the June reveal, and actually, even waaay before that. They already know who we want and who they're going to commit to by now.

I think the deck is already stacked by this stage. With 2 more DLC we're more likely to get Fujin/Reiko, but more likely than those are Cyrax/NoobSaibot/Smoke/missingtrilogycharacterscasualsharrassEdstwitteraboutpostlaunch

That's IF, and big IF, we get more DLC characters at all. We were promised more than 4 after MK9 if the original 4 sold (they did). These never materialised :(

Post trilogy, I'm resigned to Tanya at this stage - but at least it's something. A minor victory for post-trilogy fans, and hard fought!!

Also, if you haven't noticed, they gave Kung Jin the stupid helmet of Havik. The only thing that looks horrible on both!

Don't be too discouraged OP because if the fans make enough noise for Havik he could be considered for the next MK even if he doesn't make the cut for this one.

I hope he does make the cut though, I feel like he would make a great addition to the roster.

Yeah..if the Tremorons could make enough noise for a garbage character like Tremor, I'm sure the noise made for a LEGIT character like Havik could bring him back into the fold. Though, with his presence along with Reiko's being uber important in the comic, I wouldn't be surprised to see both in. Could be unlocked through story mode completion - Cyber Sub-Zero was a huge surprise to folks who weren't spoiled by the forums, since no one on the forums can ever keep their damn traps shut and always have to go out of their way to spoil shit. But the same could hold true for Havik and Reiko (assuming they aren't killed in the upcoming issue of the comic).

If enough people could be bothered to stand up and yell for MKDA-D characters they will take notice. The whole petition thing does not work is blatantly obviously false - you just need enough of a bonfire to make the people notice.

You don't have to force this type of thing, it juts happens...Noise has already been made, they are aware of the characters fans want.

The problem was the entire community expected 3D era characters on the roster and fans were increasingly being told to pipe down/have patience when their inclusion became suspect. By the time the full roster was posted and being accepted as fact, it was too late for petitions, protests etc and the shit hit the fan!!

I think enough people DID stand up and yell for post-trilogy characters. Can you imagine the discussions around including Tanya with Tremor as the 'classic MK characters' DLC over Cyrax/Smoke/Noob etc? The trilogy characters are plain and simply the obvious money-grabs, so the level of indignation from the community over post-trilogy snubs must have played a *huge* factor in the decision making. 100% that can't be denied.

Confident Tanya was an olive branch for the hard and vocal post-trilogy fanbase.

And if they ended up including Fujin, Reiko and Havik I DEMAND they add mister NIPPETS or I will cancel my pre-order!!!!!

I can expect nothing good from MK. Gameplay is not really a factor when you have the same old shit to play with. And if they do the PC version like they have done MK9 then goodbye to that thought of getting it.

I support your hunger for havik. I think if you have a favorite the best way to help get some kind of attention, and this goes for everyone, is to simply voice your opinion and hopes aloud. I don't believe my fancry for Martian Manhunter was the only cause of fireworks. But let's be honest. I worked just as hard as anyone could to throw the demand out there.

Ed knew me as my name was brought up before in previous mk media. Most notably MKA when gamespot said MK_MINION ask will... so I'm sure he paid attention. Not to mention the gif I edited on twitter where he replied. You made that? Cool! So it felt good most definitely it brought my confiendence level up in the areas where I felt I had not reached yet.

Then in july the month of my birthday MM trailer dropped.

So I'd like to think I aided voice to accompany the others in demand. And I'm glad I did. Us MM fans got are very first taste of MM in an actual triple A fighting game.

I support your hunger for havik like I said. And if that is the character you desire so much to have a prominent spot. I say do the best you can in hopes NRS will support yours and other havik fans dreams of dlc or future game inclusions.

She's not on a par with Jarek, but then - I don't see anybody crying out for a Jarek re-invention. Tanya was endlessly requested alongside a select few post-trilogy. The most vocal of which remaining, Fujin, Havik, Reiko...

MK4 is a 3D MK game by all accounts, including the creators. Let's not move the goal posts.

EDIT: By the way, - I'm on your side bro, I've been pressing for more post-trilogy characters from day one. I think it's a major shame and snub NRS has not included more variety in the returnees. I do however see Tanya as a small concession from Ed and team, and I'm hopeful we'll see more.
