I seem to recall this 'rumor' popping up after the last MK game...

And the one before that...

And before that...

so yeah I'm guessing someone just keeps making this joke for S&G's.

It always is a joke. But it doesn't help that people do the odd mock up Lego MK stuff. And it looks kinda ok.

There a a few problems with doing Lego MK.
1) Lego needs the MK license before actually being able to do it for some reason.
2) The fucking backlash that it would get from all the MK die hards who view the series as an unspoilt virgin.

If we could get rid of point 2. Mortal Kombat made in Lego Blocks starring Lego Men and Women would work.

I mean hell - they explode, have their heads upper cutted off, everything.

Yeah I'd love to melt some lego. Toasty!

That would actually be a cool idea I'd buy it...maybe. At least rent it just so I could see lego men getting blown apart with little red bricks for blood. But don't get your hopes up. This is a pretty obvious joke.

Please explain. Because I really want to know how this would sell badly.

Especially based on Mortal Kombat selling nearly 3 million and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean also selling well.

I could see it as an adventure Shaolin Monks type of game. But Im more interested on how would the blood would work? MIni red blocks? Edit: It can be like Shaolin Monks but with babality like humor.

I would love to see another Shaolin Monks game but a Mortal Kombat Lego game would suck.
