I could see this being true.

It would not be the first time we saw continuity errors in the franchise, MK9 is the perfect example.

The only problem with these "bios" is that they read more like "character stories" like what happens to them throughout the game. They wouldn't spoil twists like D'Vorah and Ermac going off on their own in the bios before you even play the story.

So, I just read that a mod on another site with sources is saying that on gamefaqs someone posted both the real roster AND the dlc characters up to a few days ago but no one believed him.... wow

If they're talking about that now-deleted "leak" with 34 characters (!!!) on the initial roster, then they're mistaken; Boon himself debunked it. The roster number itself - along with the number of unannounced veteran characters - was too good to be true.

Nah, I don't think he was referring to that one because the same guy confirmed the JamesMK leak, so I'll be looking for those with DLC lists attached. Here's hoping I can find some (and hopefully the correct one).

No he fucking didn't, Suchin sent him away. Hell, he doesn't even figure out that she died until way later, when both him and Kenshi find shelter at the Shirai Ryu.

Take this with a HUGE fucking grain of salt but saw these were posted;

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Liu Kang variations

Fiery - (Fire God) Variation, strong emphasis on fire attacks. EX Fireball becomes a flaming dragon and goes full screen, can be controlled similar to Kung Laos hat toss.

Champion - Seems more like the MK9 Liu Kang, bicycle kick has special properties. This variation seems more physical based rather than fire or magic.

Scourge - Seems to be an evil variation, fireball (no low fireball this variation) is now dark purple and lowers opponent's meter (doesn't drain), has new grab that drains health and EX version drains both health and meter.

I saw that the mod you're talking about was having a discussion on his profile with another member, and he was saying that GameFAQS thread with it was deleted. He also said the DLC would be Jason, Spawn, Predator, and Tremor. Even though the Kombat Pack says two guests and two returning characters. This guy knows no more than the rest of us.

According to every source thus far, they're unplayable.

I actually think these Bios are fine. I don't see what's so bad about them. Accept maybe for those two characters dying, but even then it's okay.

Reading through these again, not a single one of them tells us anything we don't already know from either the trailers, the comic books or the casting sheet. Hell, even the MK9 bios had quite a few "oh wow, that's actually pretty cool" moments and revelations. There's NONE of that here. The only character whose backstory is still a mystery to us at this point is Erron, and his bio here is a bunch of fucking NOTHING.

It also bears repeating how amateurishly written this shit is. They read like an intern wrote them during his coffee break. You're working on a AAA project for a major publisher, for fuck's sake, handing in something this flaccid is grounds for firing.

This was explained as being "translated from German", because as we all know, the best way to make something seem legitimate is to write like a preschool kid and blame it on "translation". It's a good thing he managed to translate the amazon bios word for word. We got quite the master translator on our hands.
