I'll just be happy that Kotal Kahn is not a bad guy.
Hope that he's neutral. He won't be entirely a good guy/hero. Just trying to preserve Outworld in his own way. But not like Shao Kahn's.
What do you think?
Is he good, evil or neutral?

I'd say he is good, from how he appears in the comics.
Though, the blood drinking and heart eating is a little bizarre, but hey, that is his CULTURE and we have to RESPECT IT!!

I think he is no where near Shao Kahn.
Shao Kahn was a conqueror, Kotal Kahn is a leader.
He wants what's best for Outworld so I wouldn't call him a bad guy, I think he will do what's best for his people whether it's good or bad.
But after the last chapter which is chapter 7, he lost his shit and started cutting himself.
Soo I dunno, if you asked me a week back, I would have said Neutral.

FOR FUCK'S SAKE, drop this generic classification of good-evil/lawful-chaotic. it is bullshit, a crutch for D&D mechanics.
How about having actual good writing instead? The kind that makes you think and MAKES YOU CONFLICTED about where to put a certain person?

Pretty much this. Kotal is reasonable, a leader, something that makes him already infinitely more interesting than Shao Kahn. He also now presumably wants revenge and is going on a vendetta. I like.

Everythings not black and white, 2 good people can be enemies and 2 bad people can be enemies.
It's all about circumstance, and more importantly what they are trying to accomplish and also where they are from.(just cus your from outworld doesnt mean your bad, ect)

Going with neutral. Hoping that Reptile, whose on Kotal's side, is also finally counted as a neutral.

Kotal is aligned with outworld for the good, bad and the ugly. Erron black FTW. He has been shown to want realm allegiances so I guess "better" would be more accurate lol.

I would 100% agree with this if the concept of good and evil wasn't already directly written into the MK plot wheel.
Oh wait, that was MKA.
Just turn your head and pretend it never happened.

I just like the fact that KK has had more character development in such a short amount of time than the other three newbies combined.

He doesn't come off as necessarily 100% 'good', because he's tried to ally with very confirmed evil characters, but he has also tried to ally with goodies too.
What's his motivation for wanting to rule Outworld? Is it simply power or does he want to bring a new regime he believes is beneficial (eg Order, Peace etc)?
Why couldn't he be a loose cannon/wild card?
