If we do get any additional content, it will be piecemeal...one, maybe two characters at the most. And if we get 2, guaranteed that one of them will be Spawn. News would not have broken that WB has the rights to the character of Spawn, which a subtle mention of MK, if that wasn't the intention.
So keep your eyes peeled. They'll do more content, but it won't be as large as a Kombat Pack. Look to the Injustice DLC. they gave an extra 2 characters and more skins. That's likely the future of MK dlc moving forward, if at all.
I doubt that. After the initial four in Injustice they specifically released more characters to cater to the fans. They're not going to do another guest character, it would take way too long.
What's not to say they will do four characters this time? Every game now they've gone bigger and better. It's still a possibility.
