It seems some people have never heard the word "blot" before. Its pretty clear Raiden says "blots" out the sun as in a spot or a stain of lightning in the sun

Or Shinnok..or Fujin..or D'Vorah (betrayal). As much as I like Raiden, I'm hoping thats NOT the case, because that would be a little repetitive in my opinion. My guess is that Shinnok will unleash hordes of demons upon Outworld, Edenia and Earthrealm, putting Fujin and the mystery women from the Jade's ending in charge. Kotal Kahn will then ATTEMPT to fight back against Shinnok, but will fail...I mean, because Shinnok HAS to be a representable threat in this one.

This is all speculation of course! .

Maybe so hell maybe the person who ends Kotal Kahn reign in Out world is the return of the Dragon King himself, Onaga.

Could they like, I don't know, start talking about the story now?

At least give us a little in depth about it, not go out of their way to reveal major plot stuff and such. I'd be more down with that being revealed next than a character.

Because this... I'm just confused. It might be easy to do that with me, but this is confusing.

Trust me you're not alone in that aspect....this one is probably the most "cryptic" out of the bunch.

Fear "their" powers? Whose? The Elder Gods? Last time I've heard the Elder Gods pretty much threw off their support to Raiden's forces until the very last moment. I doubt they would suddenly try Raiden afterwards for being reckless and make him an enemy. Could it be the Netherrealm's? Last time I've heard the Sub-Zero identity debate hasn't been settled so it could imply that the Netherrealm resurrected Kuai Liang and made him a foot soldier. So Kuai Liang is still a potential candidate to be the new Sub-Zero along with the out-of-proportion hypothesis that it's actually Bi-Han as Champion of the Elder Gods ("They need a BETTER protector!")

Alternate-timeline Shinnok knows that Raiden stopped his plans in the original timeline, so maybe he's more proactive and careful with his plan this time around, and so manipulates events to drive a wedge between the Elder Gods and Raiden, so that he may have a better chance of success. With Raiden out of the way, he's one step closer.

I think Bi-Han is cleansed by the Soulnado and/or resurrected to be the champion of the Elder Gods (instead of Scorpion in the original timeline). Raiden loses favor and is replaced by Sub as Protector of Eathrealm.

Or maybe Raiden just makes an enemy out of the Elder Gods.

I'd rather see YOU act as if you know what's gonna happen in the storyline.

Well that would certainly be interesting if they made Bi-Han the Elder God's champion but if I had to put money down, the new Sub-Zero is both Bi-Han AND Kuai Liang.

Most interesting dialogue so far I'd say

"Their"? Elder Gods? What Raiden could have done to anger them? And why they can't simply yank him back to wherever they are? Or, could it be simple warning from their Champion?

Coupled with "protector" quote it certainly sounds like Sub-Zero is aware of what's going on behind the scenes, so to speak. It doesn't clarify who he is, but eliminates some possibilities.

I don't want to speculate that this Sub is Bi-Han, because it's a bit too simple, though.

Very interesting back and fourth between sub zero and raiden. "Sub Zero..." Kind of implies that he didn't expect to see him. But being that he could be surprised by either Sub Zero's resurrection, it doesn't exactly end the debate of which Sub we're getting.

"Their power", could the Neatherrealm and the emperor of an Outworld in disarray have teamed up? Is that the challenge Raiden intends to face?

Perhaps a reference to an alternate timeline's new "Deadly Alliance?"
