Kamidogu possession?

Is it only me who thinks that Sindel and Kitana are not zombies, but possessed by the Kamidogu in the trailer?
Just like Fox was in the comic. The same red/yellow shining veins and eyes.....and the Kamidogus are related to Quan Chi. The demon. I think he will get back the amulet from Mileena somehow...and it makes him being the Big Bad lol.

They are quan chi's revnants. The cracks on the skin is same as they were in mk9, just now in color

Its possible but of the people we have seen cut by one of the daggers (Raiden, Kotal, Sub-Zero) they were red, no signs of yellow. I think this is just what they look like while dead and under Quan's control now.

And the Kamidogu leave bloody slashes, not cracked skin. Although I wouldn't be surprised if the Kamidogu are somehow involved.
