Yes I know. Shinnok has always had a demon form which is why when part of the trailer released people thought the person over raiden was shinnok


I know lol that's why I theorized he (In a larger demon form) would be the big bad :)

Wow, just saw that screenshot. I guess they were going for a "hey, let's ruin Shinnok" look. MK Mythologies Shinnok would have been a welcome choice.

He used reverse phycology on us, see most of us thought it would be Shinnok because of how MK9 ended and because MK4 era was next, and by saying it would be a fun returning character we wouldn't expect he tried to make us think it wasn't him since he knew most fans were expecting him, or something like that smile
